Name - The Hangover Released - 2009 Director - Todd Phillips

With the @stickupboys almost nailing this competition with the great Groundhog Day starring the awesome Bill Murray, I knew I had to bring out the big guns to take them down on this competition.

There are probably only a few films capable of beating Bill and his deadpan humor and I think that the Hangover (part 1) does it. What I love about this film is probably one of the funniest moments in movie history. This is when Iron Mike knocks out Alan to the sound of Phil Collins in the air tonight.

Whoever thought of this scene is a genius. Here Iron Mike singing and the boys doing the chorus was just pure class. You can actually imagine Mike knocking people out who annoy him too. I remember some guy videoed him punching someone on a plane and yeah, upsetting Iron Mike is a bad idea.

The other thing I love about it is that this is a film for the lads. After watching all those RomComs and family-friendly jokes with Hugh Grant, here we get the boys going to Vegas and getting up to no good. There are plenty of laughs and stereotypical situations to amuse you along the way.

The performances of Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis were for me the best. Bradley wasn't really convincing as a teacher but was a pretty cool dude and complimented the group of friends off well.

Zach for me was out of this world with many of his hilarious scenes. In all groups of friends, you need one who is a bit crazy, like Phoebe in friends crazy who can get you into some fun and crazy situations that you wouldn't normally get into. Zak who plays Alan pulls this off really well.

I can relate to this film because I can remember many of my own lads' nights out and some of the antics that we got up to. Sometimes things went wonky, but not quite like the exaggeration in this film. Some things were good, some bad!

I also have had a few "Alan" friends in the past and they have also provided some of the more memorable nights out to have.

Overall this is a nice and easy-to-watch film with many laughs and no annoying cringe moments that you get watching Bridget's Diary or what's that other one called, Notting Hill.

Oh, I loved the Hangover movies! Especially the first and second one. They were both hilarious. Plus I've lived in both the cities, so I could relate to a lot of it, believe it or not haha. Had some crazy times in both places!

Just watched the trailer and reminded me what a comic genius movie this is. I defiantly agree with you. Personally, I think it beats Ground Hog Day.

There's a certain kind of humor that I 'get' and can understand why people would laugh at, but I sit there not even cracking a smile. My sense of humor is so corny. I bet others would do the same thing (sitting there not even cracking a smile) while I'm falling out of my chair laughing at some cheesy play on words.

I was destined to be a dad telling dad jokes. Turns out my funny bone is somewhere between the Office (mixture of awkward comedy and corny comedy) and Mel Brooks (same thing, awkward/corny). I don't like awkward, but I seem to like corny. !LOLZ

The Hangover is very awkward for me. Waking up in a hotel surrounded with animals, loosing a tooth not knowing why, can't find a valuable ring, missing a friend. It's 'funny' but it's also stressful for me. I put myself into the characters too much, if it's uncomfortable for them, it's uncomfortable for me.

Thankfully, my wife shares my sense of humor. She likes British comedy.

Definitely a good one! I probably would have went with Super Troopers, but that is just me! I was actually flipping through the channels the other day and The Hangover was on and I found myself laughing at it all over again. Great stuff!

I think one of the most funny things is when we can watch ourselves reflected on the movies, maybe not in an exagerated way, But similar situations, that's always funny.i have not watched this movie, it seems funny. Good post , greetings.
