Hola amigos de Hive, bienvenidos a mi blog, espero que se encuentren muy bien.
Hoy estuve viendo esta película llamada Querido Evan Hansen, protagonizada por Ben Platt cómo Evan Hansen, Kaitlyn Dever cómo Zoe Murphy, Colton Ryan cómo Connor Murphy, Amy Adams cómo Cynthia Murphy, Amandla Stenberg cómo Alana Beck, Julianne Moore cómo Heidi Hansen. Es una película de género drama y musical.
Evan Hansen es un adolescente que está en la preparatoria y tiene problemas de ansiedad social, quiere tener una vida normal pero no para de pensar y pensar y eso lo hace estar en un círculo vicioso del cual no puede salir. Toma medicamentos y no tiene amigos, su psicólogo le dejó como tarea hacer un ejercicio, escribirse cartas a si mismo.
En la vuelta a clases conoce a Connor un chico que es intimidado y llamado raro por otros de los alumnos de la preparatoria así que un día en el salón de computación le pregunta a Evan su nombre y le dice que si puede firmar su yeso (tiene un yeso porque se cayó o al principio eso es lo que el dice, de un árbol) y Evan le dice que no pero de todas maneras Connor se lo firma con letras grandes. Evan imprimió una de las cartas que escribió justo en ese momento en el salón de computación donde menciona a la hermana de Connor y Connor la lee y le dice que si quería decirle a su hermana Zoe que el estaba loco y se lleva la carta y lo deja ahí plantado.
A lo que Evan se va al baño y vomita de los nervios y saca sus pastillas y se toma una desesperado por la situación, causándole que tenga flashbacks de el momento en que se estaba subiendo al árbol y se cayó. Su desesperación llega tan lejos porque tiene miedo de que todos se enteren de lo que escribió en es carta. Busca por internet búsquedas con su nombre o el nombre de Connor para ver si aparece algo pero nada y así pasan los días.
Un día Evan es llamado con urgencia a la dirección y le dicen que los padres de Connor quieren hablar con el, lo que no esperaba Evan es que estos le dijeran que Connor se quitó la vida y había dejado solo una carta, era la carta que Evan había escrito sobre si mismo y que los padres de Connor ahora le entregaban creyendo que el había sido su único y mejor amigo. Lo que deja en estado de shock a Evan.
Ya que la película es también de género musical hay varias partes dónde Evan canta sobre sus problemas, sentimientos, situaciones vividas como cuando se cayó del árbol y trata de elegir entre quedarse para siempre detrás de los demás, escondiéndose no mostrando su verdadero ser o batallar contra sus demonios, su mente, y decir lo que siente y piensa realmente.
Está película pudo haber tenido un mejor protagonista, algo más joven ya que el chico que pusieron es como de 30 y para hacer el papel de un adolescente no se veía como uno. Algunas escenas musicales fueron demasiado largas y para ser una película dirigida por Stephen Chbosky director de películas cómo Las Ventanas de ser Invisible (una de mis películas favoritas adaptada del libro escrito por Chbosky) pudo haber escogido a alguien mejor, pero esa es solo mi opinión. En la búsqueda de Google pude ver qué a la mayoría de las personas les pareció la película 5 puntos de 10 y en Letterboxd (aplicación para llevar un recuento de todas las películas que vistes y quieres ver) le dieron un 2.2 así que se nota que a la gente no le gustó mucho.

Today I was watching this movie called Dear Evan Hansen, starring Ben Platt as Evan Hansen, Kaitlyn Dever as Zoe Murphy, Colton Ryan as Connor Murphy, Amy Adams as Cynthia Murphy, Amandla Stenberg as Alana Beck, Julianne Moore as Heidi Hansen. It is a drama and musical genre film.
Evan Hansen is a teenager who is in high school and has social anxiety problems, he wants to have a normal life but he keeps thinking and thinking and that makes him be in a vicious circle from which he can not get out. He takes medication and has no friends, his psychologist gave him the task of writing letters to himself.
On his way back to school he meets Connor a boy who is bullied and called weird by some of the other students in the high school so one day in the computer lab he asks Evan his name and says can he sign his cast (he has a cast because he fell or at first that's what he says, off a tree) and Evan says no but Connor signs it for him anyway in big letters. Evan prints out one of the letters he wrote just then in the computer lab where he mentions Connor's sister and Connor reads it and tells him if he wanted to tell his sister Zoe that he was crazy and takes the letter and leaves him standing there.
To which Evan goes to the bathroom and throws up from nerves and pulls out his pills and takes one in despair over the situation, causing him to have flashbacks of the moment he was climbing the tree and fell. His desperation goes so far because he is afraid that everyone will find out what he wrote in his letter. She searches the internet for searches with her name or Connor's name to see if anything turns up but nothing and so the days go by.
One day Evan is called urgently to the address and is told that Connor's parents want to talk to him, what Evan did not expect is that they tell him that Connor took his own life and had left only a letter, it was the letter that Evan had written about himself and that Connor's parents now gave him believing that he had been his only and best friend. Which leaves Evan in a state of shock.
Since the movie is also of musical genre there are several parts where Evan sings about his problems, feelings, lived situations like when he fell from the tree and tries to choose between staying forever behind the others, hiding not showing his true self or battling against his demons, his mind, and say what he really feels and thinks.
This movie could have had a better protagonist, something younger since the guy they put in is about 30 and to play the role of a teenager he didn't look like one. Some of the musical scenes were too long and for a movie directed by Stephen Chbosky director of movies like The Windows of Being Invisible (one of my favorite movies adapted from the book written by Chbosky) he could have chosen someone better, but that's just my opinion. On Google search I could see that most people thought the movie was a 5 out of 10 and on Letterboxd (an app to keep track of all the movies you watch and want to watch) they gave it a 2.2 so you can tell people didn't like it very much.
