Greetings dear friends, how is your weekend going? I hope quite well. Today I come with one of my favorite k-dramas, one that I can watch repeatedly and I still love it. I came to this k-drama thanks to a friend who was the one who really wanted to watch it in the first place and then out of curiosity I did it too in a week which I wasn't doing much and to distract myself I put on the first episode and I finished it pretty fast, but enough about that, let's get into it, today I want to talk to you about "Our beloved summer".

The plot of this k-drama unlike the one in my previous review (if you want to watch it you can do so here) is much simpler and with a fairly typical story and I would say that this is one of the hooks that really catches in k-dramas, which are stories that "could happen to anyone". In this one we find the story of an ex-couple who were the protagonists of a documentary when they were in school, now 10 years later, we can see how much they have changed from their school years and as fate would have it, they meet again.

The series begins with one of our protagonists Choi Ung with 19 years old introducing himself in the documentary (this can be a bit confusing at times) and we notice that he is a student with little application, you could even say that he is one of the last of the whole school, who shares the documentary with our other protagonist, Kook Yeon-su 19 years old also who is the best student of her year and this is the reason why they both star in the documentary, because they want to show how the best student works with the worst student or at least that was the initial plan of the documentary.

It all gets a little twisted when you see how different Yeon-su and Choi Ung tend to be so different that they start fighting for silly reasons, like how Choi Ung is so quiet and just draws or how Yeon-su is so studious, all of these, that difference and conflicts is what ends up making the documentary become so successful on the internet and go so viral that everyone claims that they make a good couple and that they have excellent chemistry the more the documentary progresses, but both protagonists claim that neither can stand the other, but that's not what the viewers see.

Fast forward 10 years and we meet a much more mature Yeon-su who is a company employee and public relations expert, but feels she is not valued. In a meeting she claims to have an excellent plan to market one of the upcoming stores, hire the most popular illustrator in recent days, Ko-o, no one knows who he is, but she claims to be able to find him and her job depends on that, or at least that's how she feels.

Then we see Choi Ung, who has not stopped being someone who enjoys doing nothing, he just wants to have peace and although his parents treat him as if he is a lazy (but not in a bad way) who has not done much, but really and to no one's surprise, Choi Ung is really Ko-o, he just keeps his face anonymous but he is one of the best known illustrators nowadays (besides earning a lot of money for his illustrations) so this will lead to both of them having to meet again and work together if they manage to reach an agreement.

I'll start my opinion talking about the story, what I just told you is a summary of the first episode and this k-drama has 16 episodes, so you have a lot of history ahead of which I did not want to talk about to avoid spoilers, but the story in general seems very good to me because they make us a perfect combination of past and present of how things were emerging and then how they ended up being in the present, so really in plot issues everything is very well structured and it is something to thank, because we have a behavioral thread that makes the story something very enjoyable.

Talking about the characters here I have some dispute, not so much for me but for other people, I mean, I loved the characters and I loved NJ, there are many secondary characters that really contribute a lot to the story and make it much more complete, even the episodes that seem to be filler (that really are not) have their sense of why to tell us that, but I have found many people on the internet that really don't share this and I understand it perfectly, I would say that not everyone can tolerate certain attitudes and this is something that we will find a lot in this k-drama, it could be considered toxic, childish and even ridiculous attitudes, but once you understand that it is part of the story, that goes to the background, but I have realized that there is no middle ground between the story and the characters according to taste, you either love it or hate it, I was one of those who loved it.

Beyond the obvious that may be the k-drama, there really are many unexpected things and some small side stories that in combination with the main story ends up complementing quite well, so there are moments for everything, both in emotions, seriousness, strong points and other quieter, making it become a roller coaster of emotions, although what predominates is the comedy, I can assure you that from the first episode to the last I was laughing at all times, obviously it depends on the sense of humor that each person handles, but for me it is one of the best comedy k-dramas I've seen, I repeat that I finished it pretty fast just for that reason, as soon as I finished an episode I wanted to start with the other either to continue learning more of the story and what would happen or simply because I could not stop laughing.

This is a k-drama that I have recommended on several occasions to other people, but I think they are only recommendations that were left in the air, but the friend of whom I spoke at the beginning also loved it, so at least I'm sure it is a very good recommendation for those who are interested in seeing a story no big deal, no fantasy, no exaggerated dramas, this is a very simple story, told from the life of a 19 year olds and then show us what they have grown in 10 years later, I would definitely say that it is a story to connect immediately.

I conclude by saying that you should really give it a chance, if you are people who are used to watching k-dramas you will know how the dramas are handled in the stories and you can understand certain exaggerations, but you will enjoy it and if you are people who are not used to watching k-dramas, I would say that the sense of humor will end up catching you, because it is such an innocent humor that ends up convincing, so you should also give it a chance, I assure you that you will love it.

Saludos queridos amigos, ¿cómo va su fin de semana? Espero que bastante bien. El día de hoy vengo con uno de mis k-dramas favoritos, uno que puedo ver en repetidas ocasiones y me sigue encantando. Llegué a este k-drama gracias a una amiga quien era la que quería verlo realmente en un primer lugar y ya luego por curiosidad lo hice yo también en una semana la cual no estaba haciendo mucho y para distraerme coloqué el primer episodio y me lo terminé bastante rápido, pero basta de hablar de ello, entremos en materia, hoy quiero hablarles de “Aquel año nuestro”.

La trama de éste k-drama a diferencia del de mi reseña anterior (si desean verlo pueden hacerlo aquí) es mucho más sencilla y con una historia bastante típica y diría que este es uno de los ganchos que realmente atrapan en los k-dramas, que son historias que “podrían pasarle a cualquiera”. En este encontramos la historia de una ex pareja quienes fueron los protagonistas de un documental cuando se encontraban en la escuela, ahora 10 años después, podemos apreciar qué tanto han cambiado a diferencia de sus años de escuela y por asares del destino, vuelven a encontrarse una vez más.

La serie comienza con uno de nuestros protagonistas Choi Ung con 19 años presentándose en el documental (esto puede ser un tanto confuso en algunos momentos) y notamos que es un estudiante poco aplicado, incluso se podría decir que es de los últimos de toda la escuela, quien comparte el documental junto a nuestra otra protagonista, Kook Yeon-su de 19 años también quien es la mejor estudiante de su año y justo esta es la razón del por qué ambos protagonizan el documental, porque quieren evidenciar el cómo funciona la mejor estudiante junto al peor estudiante o al menos ése era el plan inicial del documental.

Todo se tuerce un poco al verse lo tan diferentes que suelen ser Yeon-su como Choi Ung que empiezan a pelear por razones tontas, como el que Choi Ung sea tan tranquilo y se dedique sólo a dibujar o como porque Yeon-su sea tan estudiosa, a todas estas, esa diferencia y conflictos es lo que termina haciendo que el documental se vuelva tan exitoso en internet y sea tan viral que todos aseguran que hacen una buena pareja y que tienen una excelente química mientras más avanza el documental, pero ambos protagonistas aseguran que ninguno soporta al otro, pero no es eso lo que ven los espectadores.

Avanzamos 10 años en el tiempo y conocemos a una Yeon-su mucho más madura y siendo una trabajadora en una empresa y toda una experta en relaciones públicas, pero siente que no se le valora. En una reunión asegura tener un excelente plan para comercializar una de las próximas tiendas, contratar a el ilustrador más popular en los últimos días, Ko-o, nadie sabe quién es, pero ella asegura poder encontrarlo y de eso depende su trabajo o al menos así lo siente ella.

Luego vemos a Choi Ung, quien no ha dejado de ser alguien que disfruta de no hacer nada, sólo desea tener paz y aunque sus padres lo traten como si fuese un vago (pero no de una mala manera) que no ha hecho mucho, pero realmente y para la sorpresa de nadie, Choi Ung es realmente Ko-o, sólo mantiene su cara en anonimato pero es uno de los ilustradores más conocidos actualmente (además de ganar mucho dinero por sus ilustraciones) por lo que esto llevará a que ambos tengan que encontrarse nuevamente y trabajar juntos si logran llegar a un acuerdo.

Empezaré mi opinión hablando sobre la historia, lo que les acabo de contar es un resumen del primer episodio y este k-drama es de 16 episodios, por lo que tienen mucha historia por delante de las que no les quise hablar para no hacer spoilers, pero la historia en general me parece muy buena porque nos hacen una perfecta combinación de pasado y presente del cómo fueron surgiendo las cosas y luego cómo terminaron siendo en el presente, por lo que realmente en temas argumentales todo está muy bien estructurado y es algo de agradecer, porque tenemos un hilo conductual que hace de la historia algo muy disfrutable.

Hablando de los personajes aquí tengo cierta disputa, no tanto por mí sino por otras personas, quiero decir, a mí los personajes me han encantado y amé a NJ, hay muchos personajes secundarios que realmente aportan mucho a la historia y la vuelven mucho más completa, incluso los episodios que parecen ser de relleno (que realmente no lo son) tienen su sentido del por qué contarnos aquello, pero he encontrado a muchas personas en internet que realmente no comparten esto y lo entiendo perfectamente, diría que no todos pueden tolerar ciertas actitudes y esto es algo que encontraremos mucho en este k-drama, podría considerarse actitudes toxicas, infantiles y hasta ridículas, pero una vez entiendes que es parte de la historia, eso pasa a segundo plano, pero me he dado de cuenta que no existe punto medio entre la historia y los personajes según los gustos, o te encanta o la odias, yo fui de los que le encantó.

Más allá de lo obvio que pueda ser el k-drama, realmente hay muchas cosas inesperadas y unas pequeñas historias secundarias que en combinación con la historia principal termina complementándose bastante bien, por lo que hay momentos para todo, tanto en emociones, seriedad, puntos fuertes y otros más tranquilos, haciendo que se convierta en una montaña rusa de emociones, aunque lo que más predomina es la comedia, puedo asegurarles que desde el primer episodio hasta el último me estuve riendo en todo momento, obviamente dependerá del sentido del humor que maneje cada persona, pero para mí es uno de los mejores k-dramas de comedia que haya visto, vuelvo y repito que lo terminé bastante rápido justo por eso, apenas terminaba un episodio ya quería empezar con el otro ya fuese para seguir conociendo más de la historia y de lo que sucedería o simplemente porque no podía parar de reír.

Éste es un k-drama que yo he recomendado en varias ocasiones a otras personas, pero creo que sólo son recomendaciones que quedaron en el aire, pero la amiga de quien les hablé al principio también le encantó, por lo que al menos estoy seguro que es una muy buena recomendación para aquellas personas que les interesa ver una historia nada del otro mundo, sin fantasía, ni dramas exagerados, esto es una historia muy sencilla, contada desde la vida de unos jóvenes de 19 años para luego mostrarnos lo que han crecido en 10 años después, sin duda diría que es una historia para conectar de inmediato.

Finalizo diciendo que realmente deben darle una oportunidad, si son personas que acostumbran a ver k-dramas sabrán cómo se manejan los dramas en las historias y pueden entender ciertas exageraciones, pero lo van a disfrutar y si son personas que no acostumbran a ver k-dramas, diría que el sentido del humor les va a terminar atrapando, porque es un humor tan inocente que termina convenciendo, por lo que también deberían darle una oportunidad, les aseguro que les encantará.
