Desde siempre he creído en la frase "Nunca es tarde para ver una película" esto es porque por muchas historias que quiero ver siempre hay uno que otro film que por “x” excusa no veo, pero por fin encontré algo que me motive a verlas y eso es el Challenge creado por @lqch en el cual debemos tomar 7 películas que no hayamos visto y verlas en un intervalo de 7 días; lo mejor de esto y lo que más me gustó es que no debemos hacer 7 post seguidos, solamente haremos 2 posts, uno al comienzo y otro al final en el cual se hará un resumen de los otros seis film restantes; para esta iniciativa o Challenge decidí tomar siete films originales de Netflix que no he podido ver. Algunas veces vemos cómo películas que anteriormente fueron estrenadas en Netflix parece que se pierden en la numerosa cantidad de películas estrenadas en esa cadena de streaming, posiblemente este film que fue premiado en el Festival de Sundance del 2017 como mejor film dramático, tal vez no alcanzo un mayor reconocimiento al ser estrenado vía streaming inmediatamente después de su estreno en este festival, como ya sabemos estás prácticas han cambiado y ahora antes de aparecer en la programación de Netflix, se estrena de forma limitada en los cines.

**"I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore"** nos relata la historia de Ruth, una mujer la cual su vida se divide en su trabajo como enfermera y su soledad, su forma de vivir hace que sienta que no encuentra algo que la motive, pero lo que le afecta más es como son las personas que la rodean, esto se agravará cuando sea víctima de un robo, está violación a su privacidad y seguridad le dará motivos que nunca ha tenido y tal vez le de fuerza para enfrentar a un mundo en donde cada vez la simpatía y amabilidad es poca.
"I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore" tells the story of Ruth, a woman whose life is divided between her work as a nurse and her loneliness, her way of living makes her feel that she can't find something that motivates her, but what affects her most is how the people around her are, this will worsen when she is the victim of a robbery, this violation of her privacy and security will give her reasons that she has never had and perhaps give her strength to face a world where sympathy and kindness is increasingly scarce.
Macon Blair, hace su debut como director y escritor en este film, su historia va de lo real, fantasía, humor y drama, me gustó mucho los personajes como están escritos, todos, demuestra que el mundo está lleno de personas sensibles que creen o necesitan creer en un mundo lleno de gente buena, pero la realidad es otra, gente verdaderamente mala existe, pero lo mejor es que muestra como cada quien debe lidiar con el mundo a su manera, me gustó mucho cuál está escrito, gente buena, mala, víctimas de situaciones que lamentablemente se vuelven cotidianas y otros que son peligrosas. La dirección es simple, no puedo decir que es audaz o con grandes tomas, pero Blair en su función de director nos muestra una visión muy rural en dónde viven estos personajes, hay una visión triste, descolorida, nada social, las tomas son muy enfocadas en sus personajes dejando claro que como espectadores debemos ver lo infeliz que son la mayoría que aparecen en cada escena.

The direction is simple, I can't say it is bold or with great shots, but Blair in his role as director shows us a very rural vision of where these characters live, there is a sad, faded vision, nothing social, the shots are very focused on his characters making it clear that as viewers we must see how unhappy they are most of them that appear in each scene.
Las actuaciones no es que sean las más memorables e inolvidables, pero son divertidas, los personajes son divertidos en varios de sus momentos, pero también demuestran tristeza, porque son solitarios, con problemas y con dificultad para ser sociales, cada uno de los personajes es un claro reflejo del título que lleva esta película, ninguno siente que el mundo es su hogar a pesar de que pueden tener a personas que les hagan sentir una felicidad falsa, las actuaciones de todos tienen un mismo estilo y por supuesto tienen claras diferencias, porque los dividen las definiciones de ser bueno o ser malo.
The performances are not the most memorable and unforgettable, but they are fun, the characters are funny in several of their moments, but also show sadness, because they are lonely, with problems and with difficulty to be social, each of the characters is a clear reflection of the title of this film, none of them feel that the world is their home even though they may have people who make them feel a false happiness, the performances of all have the same style and of course have clear differences, because they are divided by the definitions of being good or being bad.
Me divertí mucho con esta historia, puedo sentirme identificado en muchas cosas de como existen personas que ven el mundo sin importarle nada y otros que tal vez nos importa demasiado, creo que la soledad y monotonía pueden llevarnos a lugares tristes, deprimentes que nos hace crear una zona de confort y cuando está es violentada y debemos lidiar con el mundo real, encontramos que tenemos una percepción errada de todo lo que nos rodea y podemos ser víctimas de personas completamente malas, esto me agrada del film, junte muchas cosas pero todo es muy bien pensado desde su guion y bien desarrollado. Espero que puedan ver este film por si no lo ha visto y solo me queda invitarlos a participar porque creo que a todos nos pasa lo mismo de que siempre nos falta por ver algún que otro film.
I had a lot of fun with this story, I can feel identified in many things as there are people who see the world without caring about anything and others that maybe we care too much, I think the loneliness and monotony can make us feel sad, depressing that makes us create a comfort zone and when it is violated and we must deal with the real world, we find that we have a wrong perception of everything around us and we can be victims of completely bad people, I like this film, put together many things but everything is very well thought from your script and well developed.
