Matt Reeves' THE BATMAN hit hard at the DC FanDome
Hello Hivers, last Saturday one of the most important publishers of comics in the world, "DC Comics", made a virtual event where it was shown to his fans everything related to future film projects and video games, this convention lasted 24 hours and was a response to the suspension of the "Comic-Con" that annually takes place in the city of San Diego, California, remember that this suspension of the event is because of the pandemic that the world suffers in these times.
The event was filled with lots of information from movies such as **The Flash, Wonder Woman 84, Black Adam, Aquaman 2, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Suicide Squad**, and the great and expected **Zack Snyder's Justice League**, all the panels showed interviews and opinions of both actors and directors, taking advantage of the moment to reveal something for their loyal fans, for example artworks and even trailers, all very well organized and very funny, 24 hours free for anyone who is or is not a fan of the characters that belong to the great world of **DC Comics**, but apart from all this information and the revelation of characters in both **WW84, TSS** and the **Snyder Cut**, there was one movie that had my attention and that was none other than **THE BATMAN** by _**Matt Reeves**_.
"I'm Vengeance"
The new trilogy about "The Dark Knight" is something that personally has me very motivated to see, every decision that has been made regarding the director and the group of actors that make up this story has been very good, especially choosing Robert Pattinson as "Bruce Wayne / Batman", who has shown himself to be a great actor by staying away from what was seen in "Twilight", but from every choice of actors and how little was known about the history of this new Batman, it was fair and necessary to take advantage of everything that could be seen in the panel that focused the new movie of one of the most important characters that DC Comics has.
For a long time we have known the different actors that will play the many characters that we will see in this story and even we had a first glimpse of Pattinson as Batman, we knew the appearance of villains like Catwoman played by Zoë Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, Colin Farrell as The Penguin and Paul Dano as The Riddler, to name a few, but in this new way of promoting the future work of DC Comics with Warner Bros. Pictures gave us much more information about this first film under the command of Reeves, In this film we will see Batman in his second year wearing the mantle of the protector of Ghotam, there are several of the villains that we already know, but in this version they are still not called with their usual names, for example "Penguin" does not like to be called that way and the appearance of "Riddler", will be the first time that it is in Gotham City and according to its director, will be a very different version of that character, in the film we will see a series of murders that will expose the great corruption that lives in that city and possibly are involved the parents of Bruce Wayne, this is something that appeared in the past film Joker, where we saw a version of Thomas Wayne not good, I imagine that this will make the mind of the vigilante of Gotham believe the doubt if you are defending a legacy that should not be defended.
"Something in the way"
In spite of the many leaks that this DC Comics event had, it was inevitable not to get excited to see each material that was shown, but if there was one that took all my attention was precisely the trailer of THE BATMAN, each one of the shots with part of the investigation and how they found a body with a phrase written in its face made many fans feel an influence of the film Seven of David Fincher in the images that were seen in the trailer although the director did not name that particular film, if he did it with classics like Chinatown, French Connection and Taxi Driver that served as an influence, if we see in these films there are stories of detective investigation and one where a person becomes an unstable vigilante, this moves me because not only from the looks of Batman and the Batmobile, it seems that the whole story will be very raw.
I really liked the version of the song of Nirvana, "Something In The Way ", which I consider one of the most depressing songs of this band, for me it's perfect for this stage of Batman, a man who still doesn't find peace or knows he will never have peace because nothing will give him satisfaction or help to bring his parents back. This is a calm song announcing that something is coming without knowing what it is and that also serves to introduce the main villain who is "The Riddler", which has a very similar image to the character known as "Hush", someone who seems to know secrets of the whole city and that will be revealing each of them looking to awaken the chaos of a city that seems to have no salvation. We must remember that this film has only 30 to 45% of finished footage, that's why what was shown in DC FANDOME, is something very special and well done, it is so important that since the official Twitter account of THE BATMAN more than 19 million people have already seen the trailer, this shows the hype that exists for this story and how important this character is, not only in comics but in the world of movies.

THE BATMAN de Matt Reeves golpeó fuertemente en el evento "DC FanDome"
Hola Hivers, el pasado sábado una de las editoriales de comics más importantes del mundo, "DC Comics", realizo un evento virtual en donde le mostró a sus fans todo lo relacionado con los futuros proyectos cinematográficos y juegos de video, esta convención tuvo una duración de 24 horas y fue una respuesta a la suspensión de la "Comic-Con" que anualmente se realiza en la ciudad de San Diego, California, recordemos que dicha suspensión del evento es a causa de la pandemia que el mundo padece en estos tiempos.
El evento estuvo lleno de mucha información de películas como **The Flash, Wonder Woman 84, Black Adam, Aquaman 2, Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Suicide Squad**, y la gran y esperada **Zack Snyder's Justice League**, todos los paneles mostraban a entrevistas y opiniones tanto de actores y directores, aprovechando el momento para revelar algo para sus fieles fans, por ejemplo artworks y hasta trailers, todo muy bien organizado y de forma muy divertida, 24 horas gratis para todo aquel sea o no fanático de los personajes que pertenecen al gran mundo de **DC Comics**, pero aparte de toda esta información y la revelación de personajes tanto en **WW84, TSS** y del **Snyder Cut**, había una película que tenía mi atención y esa era nada más y nada menos que **THE BATMAN** de _**Matt Reeves**_.

La nueva trilogía sobre "El Caballero de la Noche" es algo que personalmente me tiene muy motivado por ver, cada una de las decisiones que se han tomado con respecto al director y el grupo de actores que conforman esta historia me han perecido muy buenas, en especial la de elegir a Robert Pattinson como "Bruce Wayne / Batman", quien ha demostrado que es un gran actor manteniéndose alejado de lo que se vio en "Twilight", pero de cada elección de actores y lo poco que se sabía de la historia de este nuevo Batman, era justo y necesario aprovechar todo lo que se podía ver en el panel que se enfocaba la nueva película de uno de los personajes más importantes que tiene DC Comics.
Desde hace tiempo se sabe los diferentes actores que interpretaran a los muchos personajes que veremos en esta historia y hasta ya se tenía un primer vistazo de Pattinson como Batman, sabíamos la aparición de villanos como Catwoman interpretado por Zoë Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright como James Gordon, Colin Farrell como The Penguin y a Paul Dano como The Riddler, esto por nombrar a algunos, pero en esta nueva forma de promocionar los futuros trabajos de DC Comics junto a Warner Bros. Pictures nos brindó mucho más información sobre este primer film bajo el mando de Reeves, En este film veremos a Batman en su segundo año usando el manto del protector de Ghotam, existen varios de los villanos que ya conocemos, pero que en esta versión todavía no son llamados con sus nombres habituales, por ejemplo "Pingüino" no le gusta que sea llamado de esa forma y la aparición del "Acertijo", será la primera vez que sea en Ciudad Gótica y según su director, será una versión muy diferente a la que ya se ha visto de ese personaje, en la película veremos a una serie de asesinatos que expondrán la gran corrupción que vive esa ciudad y que posiblemente estén involucrados los padres de Bruce Wayne, esto es algo que se había visto en el pasado film JOKER, en donde pudimos ver una versión nada buena de Thomas Wayne, esto imagino que hará que en la mente del vigilante de Gótica se cree la duda si está defiendo un legado que no debe ser defendido.
"Something in the way"
A pesar de las muchas filtraciones que tuvo este evento de DC Comics, fue inevitable no emocionarse por ver cada material que fue mostrado, pero si hubo uno que tomo toda mi atención fue justamente el trailer de THE BATMAN, cada una de las tomas con parte de la investigación y como encuentran un cadáver con una frase escrita en su rostro hizo que muchos fans sintieran una influencia del film Seven de David Fincher en las imágenes que se veía en el trailer aunque el director no nombro ese film en particular y si lo hizo con clásicos como Chinatown, French Connection y Taxi Driver, si vemos en estos films hay historias de investigación detectivesca y una en donde una persona se vuelve un inestable vigilante, esto me emociona porque no solo por lo visto en la vestimenta de Batman y el Batimovil, parece que toda la historia será muy cruda.
Me gustó mucho la versión del tema de Nirvana, "Something In The Way", la cual considero uno de los temas más deprimentes de esta banda, para mi es perfecta para este etapa de Batman, un hombre que todavía no encuentra paz o sabe que no tendrá nunca paz ya que nada le dará satisfacción ni ayudara a traer a sus padres de vuelta. Esta es una canción calmada anunciando que algo viene sin saber que es y eso también sirve para presentar al villano principal que es "El Acertijo", el cual tiene una imagen muy parecida al personaje conocido como "Hush", alguien que parece sabe secretos de toda la ciudad y que ira revelando cada uno de ellos buscando despertar el caos de ya una ciudad que parece que no tiene salvación. Hay que recordar que este film tiene solamente entre un 30 a 45% de metraje terminado, es por eso que lo que se mostró en el DC FANDOME, es algo muy especial y bien hecho, es tan importante que desde la cuenta oficial de Twitter de THE BATMAN ya han visto el trailer más de 19 millones de personas, esto demuestra el hype que ha levantado esta historia y lo importante que es este personaje, no solo en los comics sino en el mundo del cine.
