Un joven en el Nápoles de los 80' aprenderá lo bueno y duro de la vida... "The Hand of God"
El cine y el fútbol son de los dos vías de escape que tengo de la realidad, puedo pasar horas viendo juegos de fútbol y películas, ambas están llenas de victorias, derrotas, personajes buenos y malos, de momentos cómicos, tristes, motivadores, llenos de esperanza, de justicia, injusticia y hasta pueden llegar a ser inolvidables; yo soy muy apasionado por ambas, tal vez con el fútbol he aprendido a no tomarme las cosas tan seriamente, ya que siempre está la oportunidad de volver a comenzar y tratar nuevamente de obtener un claro objetivo, eso lo he aprendido del fútbol, en cambio, del mundo del cine he aprendido a poder relacionar y entender lo que puede transmitir un director, escritor y hasta los actores y es por eso que tanto el fútbol como el cine es lo que me gusta escribir en Hive y compartir con todos ustedes.

A young man in the Naples of the 80's' will learn the good and hard things in life.... "The Hand of God"
Cinema and futbol are of the two escape routes I have from reality, I can spend hours watching soccer games and movies, both are full of victories, defeats, good and bad characters, comic moments, sad, motivational, full of hope, justice, injustice and can even become unforgettable; I am very passionate about both, maybe with soccer I have learned not to take things so seriously, since there is always the opportunity to start over and try again to obtain a clear objective, I have learned that from soccer, on the other hand, from the world of movies I have learned to relate and understand what a director, writer and even the actors can transmit and that is why both soccer and cinema is what I like to write in Hive and share with all of you.
En "The Hand of God" (È stata la mano di Dio) veremos la historia de "Fabietto" un chico de 16 años de edad, tranquilo, algo solitario que tiene una vida tranquila en la ciudad de Nápoles en los 80'; él no tiene problemas con nadie, es muy querido por sus padres y hermano mayor y como todo chico italiano, el fútbol es una de las importantes cosas que dictamina su vida y más cuando el considerado mejor del mundo puede estar cerca ser parte del Napoli, pero diferentes situaciones harán que Fabietto deba experimentar lo difícil de la vida terminando toda estabilidad que tiene y a causa de eso deberá crecer de forma rápida para poder seguir adelante.
In "The Hand of God " (È stata la mano di Dio) we will see the story of "Fabietto" a 16 year old boy, quiet, somewhat lonely who has a quiet life in the city of Naples in the 80'; he has no problems with anyone, he is very loved by his parents and older brother and like every Italian boy, soccer is one of the important things that dictates his life and more when the considered best in the world may be close to be part of Napoli, but different situations will make Fabietto must experience the difficult life ending all stability he has and because of that he must grow up quickly to move forward.
El film es dirigido por Paolo Sorrentino, un famoso director italiano el cual se ha ganado la admiración de muchos y también la crítica por su manera de hacer cine, justamente está película es considerada por el mismo como un trabajo muy diferente de los que anteriormente ha hecho y es que está historia es considera como una autobiografía de este director; Sorrentino es oriundo de Nápoles y creo que tenía como misión mostrar lo mejor de su ciudad y creo que lo ha conseguido, en muchas de sus tomas observamos lo mejor de la ciudad, sea en una zona rural, en el campo o en el mar, cada una de las tomas muestra lo mejor de ese lugar, su arquitectura y hasta cómo se comporta cada Napolitano, no tengo ninguna duda de que este director hace un homenaje a este lugar necesitado de alegrías y que acusa ser olvidado por un país completo mostrando lo mejor que tienen.
La historia, como dije en el párrafo anterior este es una historia muy personal por parte de Sorrentino y creo que por eso decidió hacerla de una forma fácil de comprender, en todo momento sentí como si estuviera hablando con alguien al cual le hice la simple pregunta: "¿Cómo era su vida en ese lugar, en ese momento preciso?" Y como respuesta tenemos este film de más de dos horas de duración, con lo bueno y lo duro que nos da la vida. Con respecto a cómo fue escrito está historia, la puedo dividir en dos partes, una en dónde el fútbol, la felicidad es importante, tanto que una cosa va muy relacionada con la otra, ya que muestra como el aficionado al fútbol vive por ese deporte y es que una noticia positiva, una victoria, puede tapar cualquier problema que se presente, llevarlo a nada, esto me pareció genial porque es lo más natural que hay, yo lo he vivido y por eso me ha gustado, ahora con respecto a la segunda parte del film puedo decir que es lo que nos ofrece la vida, lo cual es momentos reales, personales para bien o para mal, ya que de cualquier manera debemos enfrentar la, debemos ser responsables, crecer, darle importancia a lo que sea completamente real sin dejar atrás los que nos apasiona, solo que debemos ser adultos y saber que es lo real y que no; esto lo que me pareció excelente por parte del film y de este director y guionista, no esconder nada sobre lo que le gusta y a la vez mostrar responsabilidad usando lo que seguramente más ama que es el hacer cine.
The film is directed by Paolo Sorrentino, a famous Italian director who has won the admiration of many and also the critics for his way of making films, just this film is considered by himself as a very different work from those he has done before and this story is considered as an autobiography of this director; Sorrentino is a native of Naples and I think his mission was to show the best of his city and I think he has succeeded, in many of his shots we see the best of the city, whether in a rural area, in the countryside or in the sea, each of the shots shows the best of that place, its architecture and even how each Neapolitan behaves, I have no doubt that this director makes a tribute to this place in need of joy and that is accused of being forgotten by a whole country showing the best they have.
The story, as I said in the previous paragraph this is a very personal story by Sorrentino and I think that's why he decided to make it in an easy to understand way, at all times I felt like I was talking to someone to whom I asked the simple question: "How was your life in that place, at that precise moment?" And as an answer we have this film of more than two hours long, with the good and the hard that life gives us. Regarding how this story was written, I can divide it into two parts, one where soccer, happiness is important, so much so that one thing is closely related to the other, as it shows how the soccer fan lives for that sport and that a positive news, a victory, can cover any problem that arises, bring it to nothing, this seemed great to me because it is the most natural thing there is, I have lived it and that is why I liked it, now with respect to the second part of the film I can say that it is what life offers us, which is real, personal moments for better or for worse, because either way we must face it, we must be responsible, grow up, give importance to what is completely real without leaving behind what we are passionate about, only that we must be adults and know what is real and what is not; This is what I found excellent on the part of the film and of this director and screenwriter, not hiding anything about what he likes and at the same time showing responsibility using what he surely loves the most, which is filmmaking.
Toda la historia se enfoca en la simple y normal vida de Fabietto que está interpretado por Filippo Scotti un joven actor el cual paso de trabajar en teatro a ser protagonista de una serie de Netflix y ahora tiene su primer papel protagónico en este largometraje; su actuación es especial, me gusta la forma de cómo se relaciona con su padre, madre y hermano mayor, cada uno es su mejor amigo y lo trata de proteger de cualquier forma, pero a pesar de todo eso es muy claro que este personaje está deseando conocer el mundo, el problema está que para poder tener a esa libertad deberá experimentar un gran dolor y eso hace que para poder ser independiente deba sufrir para poder expresar lo que en realidad siente, conseguir el medio preciso para poder decir lo que él quiere; me gusta que sea un chico que deba experimentar lo que todo adolescente busca, la atracción, el amor imposible, la admiración al ídolo, una gran tristeza y la primera vez, cada momento de la vida de Fabietto está muy bien hecha por parte de este actor; también debo nombrar a Saberio y María Schisa, padre y madre de Fabietto, ellos son interpretados por Toni Servillo y Teresa Saponangelo, ambos actores hacen un gran papel, una pareja "clásica" en dónde el hombre trabaja y la mujer es ama de casa, su relación es real y hermosa, son divertidos, felices, pero para nada perfectos, para mí son muy importantes en esta historia, creo que en realidad está historia es para y por ellos; existe otra actriz que es difícil de obviar, Luisa Ranieri interpreta a la bella y voluptuosa "Patrizia", tal vez muchos piensen que su trabajo es mostrar su hermoso físico, pero ella tal como sucede con los padres de Fabietto, ella tiene un rol importante para esta historia, Ranieri interpreta a una mujer que muchos pensaran que lo debería tener todo, pero en realidad no, es alguien triste que desea lo mejor, pero siempre es juzgada por su forma de ser y por lo que transmite. Describiendo a estos personajes a los cuales creo que son los más importantes, no tengo duda que cualquiera pudiera ser protagonistas de sus historias y tal vez la elección de contarla desde el punto de vista de Fabietto fue lo que pensó este director a dar un motivo o esperanza para quien busque una simple respuesta a qué hacer con su vida.
The whole story focuses on the simple and normal life of Fabietto who is played by Filippo Scotti a young actor who went from working in theater to starring in a Netflix series and now has his first starring role in this feature film; his performance is special, I like the way he relates to his father, mother and older brother, each one is his best friend and tries to protect him in any way, but despite all that it is very clear that this character is eager to know the world, the problem is that in order to have that freedom he must experience great pain and that means that in order to be independent he must suffer to express what he really feels, to get the right way to say what he wants; I like that he is a boy who must experience what every teenager is looking for, the attraction, the impossible love, the admiration of the idol, a great sadness and the first time, every moment of Fabietto's life is very well done by this actor; I must also mention Saberio and Maria Schisa, Fabietto's father and mother, they are played by Toni Servillo and Teresa Saponangelo, both actors play a great role, a "classic" couple where the man works and the woman is a housewife, their relationship is real and beautiful, they are funny, happy, but not perfect at all, for me they are very important in this story, I think this story is really for and because of them; there is another actress that is hard to miss, Luisa Ranieri plays the beautiful and voluptuous "Patrizia", maybe many think that her job is to show her beautiful physique, but she just like Fabietto's parents, she has an important role for this story, Ranieri plays a woman that many would think that she should have everything, but in reality she doesn't, she is someone sad that wants the best, but she is always judged by her way of being and by what she transmits. Describing these characters which I think are the most important, I have no doubt that anyone could be the protagonist of their stories and perhaps the choice of telling it from Fabietto's point of view was what this director thought to give a reason or hope for those who are looking for a simple answer to what to do with their lives.
Mientras veía está película pensaba que también estuviera completamente loco si Maradona fichará por el club de mi ciudad, me dejara llevar por la pasión que crea este hermoso deporte y sentiría que viviera un sueño, haciendo que mi vida rondará a todo lo que sucedería en el campo de fútbol, después recordé que ya viví esa misma sensación al ver jugar y ganar a Messi con el FC Barcelona, para ser sincero soy un loco del fútbol, pero ahora soy más calmado, centrado y sé que hay cosas más importantes en la vida aunque siempre seguiré disfrutando del fútbol y del cine que también es parte importante porque me gusta mucho ver películas, escribir sobre films, la visión de directores y guionistas y es por eso que este film en particular es importante porque es imposible para mí no sentir relacionado por todo lo que es The Hand of God, la cual creo que todo aficionado del deporte y del cine debería ver porque tiene fantasía, realidad, pasión, es divertida y a la vez triste y creo que si un film te hace experimentar esos sentimientos sin ninguna duda es uno que hay que ver.
While watching this movie I was thinking that I would also be completely crazy if Maradona would sign for the club of my city, I would be carried away by the passion that creates this beautiful sport and I would feel like living a dream, making my life revolve around everything that would happen on the soccer field, then I remembered that I already lived that same feeling when I saw Messi play and win with FC Barcelona, to be honest I am a soccer crazy, but now I am more calm, centered and I know that there are more important things in life although I will always continue to enjoy soccer and cinema which is also an important part because I love watching films, writing about films, the vision of directors and screenwriters and that is why this particular film is important because it is impossible for me not to feel related to everything that is The Hand of God, which I think every sports and film fan should see because it has fantasy, reality, passion, it is funny and at the same time sad and I think if a film makes you experience those feelings without any doubt is one that everyone should see.
