La sociedad siempre será una fuente infinita para la creación de historias interesantes en dónde el tema del dinero siempre será la base para desarrollar como es el comportamiento de dicha sociedad; esto es algo que se ha visto en exitosas producciones televisivas y cinematográficas en dónde sin importar la manera o el género que se decida para el relato de estas historias, todo se enfoca sobre el uso o la imposición del poder; lo que describí anteriormente es lo que vi en el film ganador del Palme d'Or en el "Cannes Film Festival" del pasado año y que actualmente es una de las nominadas a Mejor Película en los Premios de la Academia.
Society will always be an infinite source for the creation of interesting stories where the theme of money will always be the basis to develop the behavior of such society; this is something that has been seen in successful television and film productions where no matter the manner or genre that is decided for the telling of these stories, everything is focused on the use or imposition of power; what I described above is what I saw in the film that won the Palme d'Or at last year's Cannes Film Festival and is currently one of the nominees for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
"Triangle of Sadness" considerado como uno de los mejores films del pasado año, es una comedia negra, una sátira a la sociedad la cual el dinero es el núcleo principal en sus vidas y para enseñar eso se enfoca principalmente en las vivencias de una pareja joven, atractiva que le gusta disfrutar de la buena vida aunque el dinero no alcance, pero de las ventajas de ser bien parecidos y jóvenes, ambos serán parte del viaje en un lujoso crucero en dónde los demás pasajeros son personas sumamente adineradas que están dispuestos a disfrutar de sus vidas privilegiadas mientras son atendidos por una tripulación complaciente y es así donde observaremos diferentes puntos de vista acertadas o equivocadas de diferentes maneras de ver al mundo.
"Triangle of Sadness" considered one of the best films of last year, is a black comedy, a satire to the society in which money is the main core in their lives and to show that focuses mainly on the experiences of a young, attractive couple who likes to enjoy the good life even if money is not enough, but the advantages of being good looking and young, Both will be part of the trip on a luxurious cruise ship where the other passengers are extremely wealthy people who are willing to enjoy their privileged lives while being served by a complacent crew and that is where we will observe different points of view right or wrong of different ways of seeing the world.
La película es dirigida y escrita por Ruben Östlund, director sueco el cual ha realizado trabajos que han captado la atención de muchas personas en el mundo del cine, pero personalmente no había visto ninguno de sus trabajos hasta este momento al ver a su preparado nuevo film. En mi humilde opinión, el trabajo de Östlund es muy bueno, se ve que es un director muy detallista que siempre está dispuesto a tener una escena perfecta que demuestre una buena fotografía; en los tres actos que conforman este film, existen escenas muy buenas en dónde se toma diferentes puntos de vista, sea desde los mismos personajes o uno que nos convierte en príncipes espectadores de las muchas ocurrencias que suceden en esta historia.
El guion es magnífico, es muy divertido, real y lo que creo que es hace más relevante al film; realizar una historia que sea una sátira a la sociedad rendida al dinero, creo que es fácil (sin menospreciar) porque es inevitable no saber en qué enfocarse en este tipo de temas; esto lo digo porque la historia se enfoca en una parte de la sociedad que puede obtener lo que quiera sea por un alto estatus social y en una muy pequeña parte de esa parte que se beneficia por las imposiciones de la sociedad para el entrenamiento; esto en parte demuestra una crítica y señalamiento a este dos tipos de personas antes descritas, en dónde una disfruta su vida de millonario con el poder (según ellos) de juzgar y manejar todo lo que los rodea y en dónde también está ese nuevo grupo que tal vez juzgue más y en dónde las apariencias es lo más importante que otras cosas; esto en parte relata este film en dónde deja para el final un tema muy importante.
The film is directed and written by Ruben Östlund, Swedish director who has made works that have captured the attention of many people in the world of cinema, but personally I had not seen any of his works until this moment to see his prepared new film. In my humble opinion, the work of Östlund is very good, you can see that he is a very detailed director who is always ready to have a perfect scene that shows a good photography; in the three acts that make up this film, there are very good scenes where he takes different points of view, either from the same characters or one that makes us prince spectators of the many occurrences that happen in this story.
The script is magnificent, it is very funny, real and what I think makes the film more relevant; to make a story that is a satire to the society surrendered to money, I think it is easy (without belittling) because it is inevitable not to know what to focus on in this kind of topics; I say this because the story focuses on a part of society that can get whatever they want either by a high social status and a very small part of that part that benefits from the impositions of society for training; this in part shows a criticism and pointing to these two types of people described above, where one enjoys his life as a millionaire with the power (according to them) to judge and manage everything around them and where there is also that new group that may judge more and where appearances are more important than other things; this partly tells this film where it leaves for the end a very important issue.
Hay algo importante en este film y es el buen trabajo del gran grupo de actores que conforman este film; quienes interpretan a "Yaya" y "Carl", Charlbi Dean y Harris Dickinson, cumplen con su función de pareja en donde disfrutan el ser jóvenes y las regalías que obtienen por eso; me sorprendió el cómo sus personajes están escritos, dónde sus expectativas y sueños deben ser algo importante, pero al momento parecieran entender que hay tiempo para pensar en eso y mejor es disfrutar el ahora; aparte de ellos, los otros personajes que me han gustado son "the Captain", interpretado por Woody Harrelson y "Dimitry" interpretado por Zlatko Burić; ellos se adueñan del film al final del segundo acto y en dónde creo que son un claro ejemplo de personas que brindan opiniones desde los beneficios que han obtenido de diferentes maneras; puedo decir que sus personajes son molestos, pero es que he conocido y lidiado con personas que se comportan tal como lo hacen estos dos personajes, por eso creo que son los mejores.
There is something important in this film and it is the good work of the great group of actors that make up this film; who play "Yaya" and "Carl", Charlbi Dean and Harris Dickinson, fulfill their role as a couple where they enjoy being young and the royalties they get for that; I was surprised how their characters are written, where their expectations and dreams should be something important, but at the moment they seem to understand that there is time to think about that and better is to enjoy the now; apart from them, the other characters I liked are "the Captain", played by Woody Harrelson and "Dimitry" played by Zlatko Burić; they take over the film at the end of the second act and where I think they are a clear example of people who give opinions from the benefits they have obtained in different ways; I can say that their characters are annoying, but I have met and dealt with people who behave as these two characters do, that's why I think they are the best.
En las anteriores reseñas que he hecho de films que han recibido nominaciones a los Premios de la Academia, he notado la conexión de las historias de estos films con la vida real, pero hay algo más y eso es las escenas que pueden ocasionar reacciones a quien las ve y eso sucedió en Triangle of Sadness porque Östlund, crea en una secuencia, comedia, asco, terror y nuevamente usa la comedia para realizar lo que creo que es de las mejores escenas en todo el film. Me pareció excelente la manera de realizar una sátira con respecto a los puntos de vista que existe en la diferencia de los estatus sociales y no creo que al ser una comedia minimice la crítica, lo que creo que la hace más aceptable porque al final vemos que la sociedad justamente usar el término de la comedia para juzgar, señalar y criticar lo que ellos le parece erróneo, usan de mala manera la comedia para ocultar lo que en realidad son y es por eso que está película así como fue "Parasite" de Bong Joon-ho son perfectas para enseñar cómo una parte de la sociedad actúa. Espere un buen tiempo para ver este gran film, el cual claramente lo considero no solo como la mejor comedia del 2022, sino una de las mejores películas del pasado año, son más de dos horas de duración, pero su narrativa, las actuaciones y la dirección son de primer nivel; es un film muy entretenido, muy bien hecho y ahora tienen la oportunidad de verla en el servicio de streaming de Amazon Prime Video, así que den una oportunidad a esta historia.
In the previous reviews I have done of films that have received Academy Award nominations, I have noticed the connection of the stories of these films with real life, but there is something else and that is the scenes that can cause reactions to those who see them and that happened in Triangle of Sadness because Östlund, creates in a sequence, comedy, disgust, terror and again uses comedy to make what I think is one of the best scenes in the whole film. I thought it was an excellent way to make a satire with respect to the points of view that exist in the difference of social status and I do not think that being a comedy minimizes the criticism, which I think makes it more acceptable because in the end we see that society just use the term of comedy to judge, They use comedy in a bad way to hide what they really are and that's why this movie as well as "Parasite" by Bong Joon-ho are perfect to show how a part of the society acts. I waited a long time to see this great film, which I clearly consider it not only as the best comedy of 2022, but one of the best films of last year, it is more than two hours long, but its narrative, performances and direction are top notch; it is a very entertaining film, very well done and now you have the opportunity to watch it on Amazon Prime Video streaming service, so give this story a chance.
