Before I move onto writing about what I felt about the show, I would like for you to take a look at the description for the series :
"Set ninety-seven years after a nuclear war has destroyed civilization, when a spaceship housing humanity's lone survivors sends one hundred juvenile delinquents back to Earth, in hopes of possibly re-populating the planet."
I had added this to my Netflix "To watch" list a while ago but only got to it following the advice of a friend to check it out.
The 100 is not a mind blowing TV series. No, it's not that. But having said that, there is something about this series that reels you in and keeps you stream episode after episode.
I say this because, when I hit play on Friday evening, after a while when I checked to see the time, I was shocked to see that I was on EP4 for S1 already. Time had just drifted by. Even for the most highly rated series, there are parts which are slow/bore you and pause streaming to do something else. That never happened to me. This was a constant flowing river that I enjoyed drinking from.
I am now on the Season Finale for S1 and the good news is that I have another 4 seasons for streaming. In for a good time, I say.
