The Americans is a TV show currently awaiting its 6th season to be released in 2018 and here I am on it's Pilot episode. You know how they say, there is always more books to read than you can, something along the same lines can be said about TV Series these days.
The number of amazing TV shows getting pumped out is mindblowing. It leaves citizens with the sadness of not being able to cope up with them.
So this an amazing shows based on the story of Russian Intelligence officers staying in America pretending to be a married couple(got two kids too) to spy on the american government.
The shows establishes this very easily into our minds within the first ten minutes into the episode. They are on a mission to capture a soviet defector. Philip and Elizabeth Jennings are their pseudo names
Elizabeth has her own history with this defector"captain", who seemed to have forced himself on her, back when they were in Moscow and she was still a new recruit.
Philip on the other hand seems to love his make believe family a lot and even more in love with elizabeth and is quite tempted to take money and be a defector himself. He proposes this idea quite often to Elizabeth who vehemently shoots it down
The season seems to be very promising and I am super excited to watch this(Got 5 seasons more, yaay!)
