From what the fans have been preached to “Let the past die, kill it if you have to”, to this feast of everything from the past served as the ultimate fan service.
Its a decent closure for the trilogy and considering the ‘damage’ that Rian Johnson did. Hoping they fulfill George Lucas original intent to explore about the Whills.
Spoilers questions
The number of Star Destroyers revealed in the end are too much than necessary I think. Just for the visual feast whilst a single Star Destroyer is enough to instill fear in the original trilogy.
Does Exegol have its own atmosphere and gravity? Poe and the team freely roams on the surface of the Star Destroyers.
Lightning that came out from Palpatine damages all of the Rebels starships but didn't even break Rey's Light Saber?
Didn't Rose Tico died in The Last Jedi?
Couldn't they flew the Millenium Falcon straight to the wreck of Death Star and drop Rey there? Like how they pick Finn after that?
Still unclear who Rey's parents are and I can't see why Rey should be called a Skywalker? Because she does not go to the dark side and been taught by both Luke and Leia?
Rey is still a Mary Sue. And that final 'I am Ironman' moment at the end.
*facepalm
