Synopsis
The story begins with Thors a Viking tired of wars who escaped to a calm city, with his wife, because they both want to have a quiet life, with some problems, but without wars, a price he is glad to pay. Thors has two children, one girl, and one boy, the boy is Thorfinn, the younger brother who wants to go to a war, like all the boys in the town.
Bad days arrive when ex-partners of the war discover Thors is alive, so they decided to travel to the town looking for Thors because he is really strong and he can help a lot in wars, so they threaten Thors saying they can destroy the town.
Thors have to go out because he wants to protect his town and some persons in the town accompany him, but they didn't know Thorfinn is in the boat too. While they are on the trip, they are ambushed and the mercenaries tell the crew that it was a trap and they just kill Thors and let the others alive, but Thorfinn hides in the boat of the mercenaries and decided to have his revenge.
Why am I recommending this anime?
Vinland Saga is a cruel anime, with cold-blooded killings, some situations when you will see the ugly face of humans, how selfish we can be, and how some of them try to change things, even if it looks impossible.
The animation is really cool, amazing, it can transmit emotion in scenes of battles, also the plot is catching because we have the revenge of Thorfinn and the war of England.
The second should be in progress, so we must wait to watch more about Vinland!
