Hello friends, welcome to my blog, I like vampire movies of classic monsters is my favorite, I read Bram Stoker's novel, Dracula, when I was just a teenager and since then I became a fan of all his stories and movies I have seen countless films of this character and among my favorites are "Interview with the Vampire", Dracula: the untold story, among others, they are just some of my favorites, so when Morbius is released, which in a certain way, I imagine (this is my guess), it's based in some way on Bram Stoker's iconic character, I had to see it no matter what I heard about it from my friends.
Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, me gustan las películas de vampiros de los monstruos clásicos es mi favorito, leí a la novela de Bram Stoker, Drácula, cuando apenas era una adolescente y desde entonces me convertí en fan de todas sus historias y películas, vi infinidad de películas de este personaje y entre mis favoritas están “Entrevista con el Vampiro”, Drácula: la historia jamás contada, entre otras, solo son algunas de mis preferidas, por ello cuando se estrena Morbius, que en cierta forma, imagino (esto es una suposición mía), está basado de alguna manera en el personaje icónico de Bram Stoker, tenía que verla sin importar lo que escuchase de ella de mis amigos.

The reality is that in both films they lost the opportunity, especially with Venom 2 and with Morbius, to make them great and take advantage of them, but they did not do it because they wanted to make them, in my opinion, for all audiences, when in both cases they needed to come out and the real and bloodthirsty essence that both characters have could be seen.
Sé que Morbius es uno de los villanos y antihéroes de los comics de Marvel, más específicamente de Spider-Man, un universo que Sony a pretendido explotar llevando algunos de sus personajes de villano al cine y pasarlos a una especie de villanos con conciencia y antihéroes que matan, pero sienten culpa por ello y lo hacen por un bien mayor o porque las circunstancia lo obligan, caso que vimos con Venom y ahora con Morbius. La realidad es que en ambas películas perdieron la oportunidad sobre todo con Venom 2 y con Morbius de hacerlas geniales y sacarle el provecho que debieron, pero no lo hicieron por quererla hacerlas en mi opinión para todo público, cuando en ambos casos se necesitaba que saliera y se viera su esencia real y sanguinaria que ambos personajes tienen.

Morbius, fue destrozada por la critica que la tildo de mala, creo que aunque no logro lo esperado en la manera que fueron presentados sus personajes e historia, no me pareció tan terrible al punto que a pesar que se desinflo en taquilla en su segunda semana, no fue un fracaso en taquilla, pero la mayoría de los fan de los comics, como de los que le encanta las historias de vampiros no quedaron conformes con la historia, por la falta de cohesión de como los personajes se desenvolvieron y la historia en general. Particularmente me pareció que había muchos clichés en la forma que presentaron al personaje de Michael Morbius (Jared Leto), quién tiene una rara enfermedad en la sangre, pero con un coeficiente intelectual de genio que le permite crear una cura para su enfermedad que al final será peor que está enfermedad, por el costo moral, ético y humano que conllevo.

I loved the character of Milo, in my opinion the best of the film despite the fact that the special effects were not up to the film, nor the budget that counted.
Tanto Michael como su mejor amigo y financista del proyecto Milo (Matt Smith), quienes tienen la misma enfermedad y que lo está matando de a poco, buscan una cura milagrosa que lo salve de su destino, ambos se enfrentarán a las decisiones morales que conlleva administrarse esa cura y enfrentaran las consecuencias de sus decisiones. Milo se convierte en un monstruo que esta dispuesto disfrutar su nueva libertad sin sentir remordimientos para conseguir lo que quiera. Mientras Morbius se debate entre las consecuencias de lo que debe hacer para vivir y saciar su sed de sangre. Acá en la película veremos como ambos personajes son las dos caras de la moneda antes la vicisitud de matar para poder vivir. Me encantó el personaje de Milo, en mi opinión lo mejor de la película a pesar que los efectos especiales no estuvieron a la altura de la película, ni del presupuesto que contó.

The character of Adria (Martine), is the romantic touch of the story but it does not come to fruition, in my opinion this subplot was not exploited and the chemistry of the characters of Morbius and Martine was not used. As well as other characters that only seemed stuffed.
La cinta fue dirigida por Daniel Espinosa, con un guion de Matt Sazama y Burk Sharpless, conto con un reparto de actores como: Adria Arjona (Martine), será la doctora y compañera de investigación de Michael, Jared Harris (Emil), medico de Michael y Milo de niños, Tyrese Gibson (Simón), detective que investiga los asesinatos, Al Madrigal (Rodríguez), compañero de Simón en la investigación son solo algunos de los actores que conforman esta película. El personaje de Adria (Martine), es el toque romántico de la historia pero que no llega a concretar, en mi opinión no se explotó esta subtrama y no se aprovechó la química de los personajes de Morbius y Martine. Así como otros personajes que solo parecieron rellenos.

I think that until you respect the story as it is in the main essence of its characters, no matter how many special effects and good actors you put in, you will never be able to convince the audience. "Morbius" is a passable film, you can see it but you would never repeat it and it leaves you with the feeling that it could have been better.
En mi opinión la cinta no supo explotar el personaje como se debía fueron muy cautos en las escenas de acción y sangrientas, debió ser más de terror y aprovechar el lado siniestro en Milo del vampirismo y como Michael debía enfrentarlo, si colocas un villano de está magnitud debes demostrarlo, no hacerlo light, apta para todo público, le quitas fuerza al personaje y terminas decepcionando a los fans de vampiros y a los de los comics. Pienso que hasta que no respete la historia como es en la esencia principal de sus personajes, por mucho efectos especiales y buenos actores que coloques, jamás lograras convencer a la audiencia. “Morbius”, es una película pasable, se puede ver pero que nunca repetirías y que te deja con el sabor de que pudo ser mejor.
