Hello friends, welcome to my blog, a few weeks ago I started watching Ozark, a Netflix series, on the recommendation of a friend, who told me wonders about this series and that this year culminated after 4 successful seasons on this platform. I must say that I liked it and I am glad that it ended this year, in my opinion in the second season they should have finished it because it declined in the following seasons, despite this it kept the audience captive due to the extraordinary performances not only of its protagonists Jason Bateman and Laura Linney, but also the cast led by: Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaerther, Julia Garner, Lisa Emery, Jason Butler, Esai Morales, Janet McTeer, among others who appeared throughout the seasons leaving their mark on this extraordinary series .

Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, hace unas semanas comencé a ver Ozark, serie de Netflix, por la recomendación de un amigo, quien me hablo maravillas de esta serie y que este año culmino luego de 4 temporadas exitosas en esta plataforma. Debo decir que me gusto y me alegro de que culminara este año, en mi opinión en la segunda temporada debieron culminarla porque decayó en las temporadas siguientes, a pesar de ello mantuvo a la audiencia cautiva por las extraordinarias actuaciones no solo de sus protagonistas Jason Bateman y Laura Linney, sino también del reparto encabezado por: Sofia Hublitz, Skylar Gaerther, Julia Garner, Lisa Emery, Jason Butler, Esai Morales, Janet McTeer, entre otros que a lo largo de las temporadas fueron apareciendo dejando su huella en esta extraordinaria serie.
The story is about a man with an extraordinary gift for numbers and finances who, after a personal tragedy and lack of financial solvency, agrees with his partner to work for dangerous people, these people need to launder money and keep this money out of any risk of seizure and tracing by international authorities in money laundering. His partner makes the mistake of stealing money from the cartel, and he gets caught up in the deception. To save his life, he must prove his worth within the organization in which he works (Drug Cartel), to save his entire family from being assassinated. Here a series of events will take place that will lead him to move to Ozark, a town where he must set up an organization to launder money and show the Navarro cartel that he is valuable to his organization.
La historia trata de un hombre con un extraordinario don para los números y las finanzas que luego de una tragedia personal y la falta de solvencia económica, acepta junto a su socio trabajar para personas peligrosas, estas personas necesitan lavar dinero y mantener este dinero fuera de cualquier riesgo de incautación y rastreo por parte de las autoridades internacionales en el blanqueo de capitales. Su socio comete el error de robar dinero al cartel y él se ve involucrado en el engaño. Para salvar su vida deberá demostrar su valía dentro de la organización en la que trabaja (Cartel de Drogas), para salvar a toda su familia de ser asesinada. Acá pasara una serie de hechos que lo llevara a mudarse a Ozark, un pueblo en el que deberá montar una organización para lavar dinero y demostrar al cartel de Navarro que es valioso para su organización.

One of the most real and complicated characters is Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner), an opportunistic small-town girl who transforms despite her origins. For me one of the best characters in the series, who was growing in each season. Villains and antiheroes like FBI agent Roy Patty (Jason Butler), who for two seasons did everything to capture Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) and his wife Wendy (Laura), Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery) and Jacob Snell ( Peter Mullan), owners of almost the entire town and drug dealers, who will see Marty as a nuisance to eliminate. They are characters that keep you on edge during the seasons they were.
En las dos primeras temporadas vemos como la aparente familia perfecta se va desintegrando a verse sometidos a hacer cosas ilegales para salvar sus vidas, estos hechos irán demostrando y sacando de cada uno su verdadera personalidad y las motivaciones de sus actos. Uno de los personajes más reales y complicados es de Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner), una chica pueblerina y oportunista, que se va transformando a pesar de sus orígenes. Para mí uno de los mejores personajes de la serie, que fue creciendo en cada temporada. Los villanos y antihéroes como el agente de FBI, Roy Patty (Jason Butler), quien durante dos temporadas hizo todo por capturar a Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) y su esposa Wendy (Laura), Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery) y Jacob Snell (Peter Mullan), dueños de casi todo el pueblo y traficantes, quienes verán a Marty como una molestia a eliminar. Son personajes que te mantienen al vilo durante las temporadas que estuvieron.

The series that knew how to combine drama and thriller with masterful care, giving us episodes of great emotion. Talking about all the characters is not easy because each one had their important moment in some chapter that made this character memorable. However, personally, I have my favorites that stood out and that came from less to more. The best thing is that when one character left, another appeared as good or better than he left and that made the series not lose that hook that kept you impatient to see what came next.
Esta serie se caracterizó por eliminar personajes a lo largo de sus temporadas, sin importar su relevancia dentro de la serie, cosa que me pareció bien tratándose de una serie de carteles, mafia y delincuencia, lo hace real. La serie que supo combinar el drama y thriller con magistral cuidado dándonos capítulos de mucha emoción. Hablar de todos los personajes no es sencillo porque cada uno tuvo su momento importante en algún capitulo que hizo este personaje memorable. Sin embargo, en lo personal tengo mis favoritos que destacaron y que vinieron de menos a más. Lo mejor es que al irse un personaje otro aparecía tan bueno o mejor de que se fue y eso hizo que la serie no perdiera ese gancho que te mantenía impaciente por ver lo que venía después.

La serie que supo combinar el drama y thriller con magistral cuidado, dándonos capítulos de mucha emoción. Hablar de todos los personajes no es sencillo porque cada uno tuvo su momento importante en algún capítulo que hizo este personaje memorable. Sin embargo, en lo personal tengo mis favoritos que destacaron y que vinieron de menos a más. As I said, for me the ideal thing for this series is that it end in its second season, but despite giving it two more seasons, it kept its touch, not at the same level as the first ones, but enough to continue watching it, fortunately this year it ended giving him an ending that perhaps for many was not the best, but the most appropriate given the circumstances. I think in a few years, because of the kind of ending it had, they'll make a movie to tell us what happened next with this (Byrde) family, leaving the Ozark and going back to Chicago. If you haven't seen this series, I invite you to watch it, it's worth it.
Como dije para mí lo ideal de esta serie es que terminara en su segunda temporada, pero a pesar de darle dos temporadas más, mantuvo su toque, no al mismo nivel de las primeras, pero si lo suficiente para seguir viéndola, afortunadamente este año culmino dándole un final que quizás para muchos no fue el mejor, pero si el más adecuado dada las circunstancias. Pienso que en unos años, por el tipo de final que tuvo, harán una película para decirnos que paso luego con esta familia (Byrde), de dejar Ozark y volver a Chicago. Sino no haz visto esta serie te invito a verla, vale la pena hacerlo.
