Hola mi queridos hivers hoy les traigo una película basada en una de las grandes novelas del Oeste, la directora de la galardonada película “El Piano”, Jane Champion, nos trae un drama familiar en un rancho de Montana. Cuando creías que los habías visto todo y pensabas que sería otra película del oeste con más de los mismo, duelo de pistolas, peleas a puños en la cantina, testosterona a montón, te sorprendes con la trama y entonces te dices “Ahh no otra Brokeback Mountain” pero te vuelves a equivocar porque este film que ha conquistado los festivales de Venecia, Toronto y San Sebastián, nos trae una historia que nos muestra desde otra perspectiva que un western en mucho más que eso, nos muestra una masculinidad tan sensible como desoladora.

En donde la violencia se desata sin disparar una bala, nos muestra a través de sus personajes un torrente de emociones tan fuertes y viscerales que hacen de este largometraje sea brillante.
