Hola hivers, voy hablarles de un clásico que siempre veo porque a pesar de ser una película de terror light, también tiene un mensaje e ingredientes de comedia, humor negro y ternura, una rara combinación que pocas veces ves y que por ello la convirtieron en una de las mejores películas de navidad de todos los tiempos, “Gremlins”, de 1984, dirigida por Joe Dante y producida por Steven Spielberg, quién es ese momento estaba en plena explosión creativa y protagonizada por Zach Galligan, Phoebe Cates y Corey Felman.

Gracias a la maravillosa, dirección, guion, efectos y maravillosas actuaciones esta película fue un éxito de taquilla, para lo que no la han visto y seas muy jóvenes, todo gira a Gizmo, el extraño pero adorable animalito de el cual te enamoras por su ternura e inteligencia, pero que es de raza mogwai (demonio en cantonés), pero viene con una advertencia, si lo mojas se reproduce, sí le das de comer después de la medianoche se metamorfosea en un Gremlins, un desagradable demonio verde que sabotea todo lo que ve y tiene tantas ganas de pasarla bien como el de asesinar.

Desde el comienzo de la película la acción es vertiginosa, así como amas y te encanta Gizmo, esta el contraste de los asquerosos que son los Gremlins (pero a la vez graciosos) y terminas adorando al malvado Stripe y sus secuaces. Es una película de fantasía que cautivo a toda una generación, que pueden ver grandes y chicos, quizás no adecuada para estos tiempos, pero más real porque demuestra las cosas como eran en esa época.
