Hello friends, 38 years ago I saw this film in the cinema, I was just a child, but the scenes and special effects for that time made this film a success of international proportions, its marketing in items such as stickers, flannels and others, increased its fame. I remember that after leaving the cinema, together with my friends I wanted to be a ghost hunter, like in the movie, go after spirits and catch them. The original of this film came out in 1984, directed by Ivan Reitman, it had an extraordinary cast of established actors such as: Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harol Ramis, Rick Moranis, William Atherton and Ernie Hudson.

Hola amigos, hace 38 años vi está película en el cine, era una niña apenas, pero las escenas y efectos especiales para esa época hicieron de esta película un éxito de proporciones internacionales, su mercadotecnia en artículos como calcomanías, franelas y otros, incrementaron su fama. Recuerdo que luego de salir del cine, junto a mis amigos quería ser una cazafantasma, como en la película, ir detrás de espíritus y atraparlos. La original de esta cinta salió en 1984, dirigida por Ivan Reitman, contaba con un elenco extraordinario de actores consagrados como: Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, Harol Ramis, Rick Moranis, William Atherton y Ernie Hudson.
This film, thanks to its cast, history, effects and direction made it become a benchmark in cinema as one of the best films in this genre of cinema. They wanted to emulate these ingredients and success in a movie that was filmed a few years ago, in 2016, but which failed miserably. With Gostbuters: afterlife, they try again to bring the story, but this time they give it a twist, it is not a remake, it is a change of perspective where the original characters are only reference in history, 38 years have passed since 1984 and they are old men. A new generation is born with this film to continue what once began.
Esta película gracias a su elenco, historia, efectos y direccion hicieron que se convirtiera en un referente del cine como una de las mejores películas en este genero del cine. Han querido emular estos ingredientes y éxito en una película que se filmo hace unos años atrás, en 2016, pero que fracaso estrepitosamente. Con Gostbuters: afterlife, tratan de nuevo de traer la historia, pero esta vez le dan un giro, no es un remake, es un cambio de perspectiva en donde los personajes originales son solo referencia en la historia, ya han pasado 38 años desde 1984 y ellos son unos ancianos. Una nueva generación nace con esta película para continuar lo que una vez comenzó.
Without wanting to spoil this film begins, with a family, where a single mother struggles to get by with her children and when she is about to be evicted from her apartment with her children, she receives a letter informing her that her father has died and is heir to a property in a town. She decides to move to this town with her children and rebuild her life there, it is her lifeline from her financial situation. Upon arriving at the property, her daughter begins to discover a series of events and stories in which her grandfather was involved until she discovered who she really was. Here strange things start to happen in the town and she, along with her brother and her friends, will come together to live dangerous situations and face what will happen, if they don't stop him.
Sin querer hacer spoiler esta cinta comienza, con una familia, donde una madre sola lucha por salir adelante con sus hijos y cuando esta a punto de ser desalojada de su apartamento con sus hijos, recibe una carta donde le informan que su padre ha muerto y es heredera de una propiedad en un pueblo. Decide mudarse a este pueblo con sus hijos y rehacer su vida allí, es su tabla de salvación de su situación económica. Al llegar a la propiedad su hija comienza a descubrir una serie de eventos e historias en la que su abuelo estaba involucrado hasta descubrir quién fue en realidad. Acá comienzas a suceder cosas extrañas en el pueblo y ella junto con su hermano y amigos se unirán para vivir situaciones peligrosas y enfrentar a lo que pasara, si ellos no lo detienen.

Esta nueva película es dirigida por el hijo de Ivan, Jason Reitman, quien retoma el film de su padre y nos trae un giro completo de la cinta original, pero sin olvidar el pasado, en donde los personajes principales aparecerán por pocos momentos para recordarnos de donde nace la historia y quienes la hicieron grande, reconectando así el presente con el pasado. Un elenco con caras nuevas y acompañado por los originales como: Mckenna Grace, Fin Wolfhard, Logan kim, Celeste O´Connor, Annie Potts, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Ernie Hudson, Dan Aykroyd y Bill Murray, hacen de esta cinta una gran película.
The best thing in my opinion about this new installment is that they did not stick to the past, but gave life to a new generation and presented the past as something that was left behind, the bad but understandable by the young of its hunters is They did not innovate in the way of going and fighting the ghosts. I do not know if this film will become a new franchise, but if so, they will have to get out of the old and innovate, with stories and visual effects that make the viewer stay seated in his chair and want to want to see more, if so it will be a success, if you don't achieve it, you will lose what was a good ending to a film that marked a milestone in time and enthusiasm for a whole generation. For me it is an 8 out of 10.
Lo mejor en mi opinión de esta nueva entrega es que no se apegaron al pasado, sino que le dieron vida a una nueva generación y presentaron el pasado como lo que es algo que quedo atrás, lo malo pero entendible por lo jóvenes de sus cazadores es que no innovaron en la forma de ir y combatir los fantasmas. No sé si esta cinta se convierta en una nueva franquicia, pero de ser así deberán salirse de lo antiguo e innovar, con historias e efectos visuales que hagan al espectador quedarse sentado en su silla y con las ganas de querer ver más, de ser así será un éxito de no lograrlo se perderá lo que fue un buen final de una película que marco un hito en el tiempo y entusiasmo a toda una generación. Para mi es un 8 de 10.
