Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, hoy les traigo una de las mejores comedias románticas en mi opinión de todos los tiempos y para las próximas generaciones de cinéfilos será un clásico del cine, “Mujer Bonita”. Es increíble que ya pasaran 32 años desde su estreno en 1990, recuerdo que era una adolescente cuando la vi en el cine con mis amigos y salimos cantando la canción que era para nosotros era desconocida, pero luego supimos que era cantada por Roy Orbison, fue uno de sus mayores éxitos 1964. Ese año en la radio se escuchó esa canción que pego de nuevo gracias a la película.
Pretty Woman starred Julia Roberts, who was only 22 at the time and not well known at the time, and the great actor Richard Gere, 40, who was coming off a losing streak in movies. On a business trip to Los Angeles, California, to acquire a bankrupt family business, he meets Vivian (Julie), a prostitute who, while out for a ride in a sports car; that she doesn't know how to drive, she finds herself in trouble and Vivian helps her. She hires her services and after spending a night together, he proposes to hire her for a week in exchange for $3,000 and to accompany him to certain social events that she does not want to go to alone.
Mujer Bonita, fue protagonizada por Julia Roberts, que para ese entonces contaba con tan solo 22 años y no era muy conocida entonces y el gran actor Richard Gere, de 40 años, que venía de una mala racha de películas. Ambos gracias a esta cinta catapultaron sus carreras, la química de ambos en la pantalla y la magistral direccion de Gerry Marshall convirtieron esta película en uno de los más grandes éxitos de taquilla de los 90s. Pero hablemos de que se trata la cinta. Edward (Gere), es un multimillonario que hizo su fortuna en adquisición de empresas en quiebra o problemas financieros, para luego venderlas por partes. En un viaje de negocios a la ciudad de Los Ángeles, California, para adquirir una empresa familiar en quiebra, conoce a Vivian (Julie), una prostituta que al salir a pasear en un auto deportivo; que no sabe conducir, se ve en problemas y Vivian le ayuda. Contrata sus servicios y luego de pasar una noche juntos, le propone contratarla por una semana a cambio de 3000$ y que lo acompañe a ciertos eventos sociales a los que no desea ir solo.

Here a series of events will take place that will make each one (Vivian and Edward), evaluate their lives, dreams and what they want. It is a film that not only tells us about the power of love, but through that love we can find redemption.
Con esta excusa Edward retiene a Vivian quien le atrae a pesar de su vida, durante esa semana ocurren muchas cosas entre ellos que les cambia la vida a ambos y se van enamorando. Vivian se va transformando gracias a la ayuda del Barney (Héctor Elizondo), el encargado del hotel. Pero no solo Vivian cambiara sino también Edward y la manera de ver las cosas, esto hará que su socio Philip (Jason Alexander), vea a Vivian como una amenaza y rival para sus planes. Acá sucederán una serie de eventos que harán que cada uno (Vivian y Edward), evalué sus vidas, sueños y que es lo que quieren. Es una película que no solo nos habla del poder del amor, sino que a través de ese amor podemos encontrar la redención.
In the film there is also an extraordinary cast such as: Laura San Giacomo, Hank Azaria, Larry Miller, Ralph Bellamy and others. Each of the characters make this tape wonderful from beginning to end, the music of the film is contagious and stands out perfectly with the story. Today, despite the time, I continue to enjoy this story and I continue to get emotional with each of the scenes that made me sigh and laugh, that is the magic of cinema, the ability to take you to experience the emotions of the characters as if you had them living in the flesh. own, moving you to the point of making you laugh or cry and that's why I love cinema. One of my favorite scenes from the movie is the final scene, when Edward awkwardly walks up the stairs to give Vivian a bouquet of flowers and tell her how she feels, that moment is magical.
En la película también hay un reparto extraordinario como: Laura San Giacomo, Hank Azaría, Larry Miller, Ralph Bellamy y otros. Cada uno de los personajes hacen que esta cinta de principio a fin sea maravillosa, la música de la película es contagiosa y resalta a la perfección con la historia. Hoy a pesar del tiempo sigo disfrutando de esta historia y sigo emocionándome con cada una de las escenas que me hicieron suspirar y reír, esa es la magia del cine la capacidad de llevarte a vivir las emociones de los personajes como si las tuvieras viviendo en carne propia, el emocionarte al punto de hacerte reír o llorar y por ello amo el cine. Una de mis escenas de la película favorita, es la escena final, cuando Edward de manera torpe sube las escaleras para darle un ramo de flores a Vivian y decirle lo que siente, ese momento es mágico.
For me, watching this movie when my spirits are low fills me with energy and smiles, it's an antidote to a bad mood. Talking about "Pretty Woman" is catapulting me back to my memories of when I saw it the first time with my friends, to the dreams of youth and of believing in happy endings. For me this film is special and that is why it will always have a place among the best films I have seen in my life. If you haven't seen them yet I recommend it, for me it's a 10 out of 10.
Para mí ver esta película cuando mis ánimos están bajos es llenarme de energías y sonrisas, es un antídoto para el mal humor. Hablar de “Mujer Bonita”, es catapultarme a mis recuerdos de cuando la vi la primera vez con mis amigos, a los sueños de juventud y de creer en finales felices. Para mi esta cinta es especial y por eso siempre tendrá un lugar entre las mejores películas que he visto en mí vida. Si aun no las has visto te la recomiendo, para mi es un 10 de 10.
