Quien en sus ultimas cintas apuesta por el género de ciencia ficción y esta vez junto a un reparto de actores extraordinarios como: Ryan Reynolds, quien repite con Levy (trabajaron en la comedia y sátira, Free Guy), junto Walker Scobell, Zoe Saldana, Catherine Keener, Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo, Alex Mallari Jr., Milo Shandel, Lucie Guest, Braxton Bjerken, Ellie Harvie, Ben Wilkinson, Jessica Bodenarek, Esther Li, entre otros.
The tape is about a pilot who travels back in time from the year 2050 to try to locate his wife Laura (Zoe), who disappeared in a time jump, in his eagerness to find her he is persecuted and injured by the company in charge of driving that technology and by mistake he arrives in the year 2022. There he must look for his 13-year-old self, a boy dealing with the death of his father and his school problems with other classmates. He will have to convince 13-year-old Adam (Walker) to help repair his ship and follow his journey to the correct year. Pilot Adam (Ryan), finding himself back home, will relive his memories and the emotions of that time.
La cinta de trata un piloto que viaja en el tiempo desde el año 2050 para tratar de localizar a su esposa Laura (Zoe), quien desaparición en un salto de tiempo, en su afán por hallarla es perseguido y herido por la empresa encargada de manejar esa tecnología y por error llega al año 2022. Allí deberá buscar a su yo de 13 años, un chico que lidia con la muerte de su padre y sus problemas escolares con otros compañeros de clase. Tendrá que convencer a Adam de 13 años (Walker), para que lo ayude a reparar su nave y seguir su viaje al año correcto. El Adam piloto (Ryan), al encontrarse de nuevo en casa revivirá sus recuerdos y las emociones vividas de esa época.
The film does not have an innovative story, in other films like Back To The Future, we saw something similar, but the performances, the humorous dialogues and moving moments make this film stand out despite not having an original plot, the action scenes, the special effects that the film has are of great productions, they spared no cost to visually provide us with a film of cinema quality, which I loved.
La cinta no tiene una historia innovadora, en otras películas como Volver Al Futuro, vimos algo parecido, pero las actuaciones, los diálogos de humor y momentos conmovedores hacen que esta cinta resalte a pesar de no tener un argumento original, las escenas de acción, los efectos especiales con que cuenta la película son de grandes producciones, no escatimaron en costos para brindarnos visualmente una cinta de calidad de cine, cosa que me encanto.
The character of Mark Ruffalo, as Adam's father, is a very different character than what we have seen Mark do in other films before, he gives him a touch of humor and he is not the shy and nerdy man that we saw in other performances. , here he teaches his son Adam the importance of what we do now define our future, but he also taught him by meeting his son at two different ages, how important the now is and spending time with what you love, that no job is as valuable as family and that is being with it.
El personaje de Mark Ruffalo, como el padre de Adam es un personaje muy diferente a lo que a Mark le hemos visto hacer en otras cintas antes, le imprime un toque de humor y no es el hombre tímido y nerd a que vimos en otras actuaciones, acá le enseña a su hijo Adam la importancia de lo que hacemos ahora definen nuestro futuro, pero también le enseño a él al encontrarse con su hijo en dos edades distintas, lo importante que es el ahora y el pasar tiempo con lo que amas, que ningún trabajo es tan valioso como la familia y es estar con ella.
The film hooks you from the first moment with its action scenes, but it also touches you with its moving moments and makes you smile with the impertinence of both Adam the pilot and the child. Adam's relationship with his mother Jennifer Garner, who tries to understand him and deal with a preteen boy who misses his father, but who is still a young woman to rebuild his life. These are topics that this film very intelligently and subtly touches on without going into depth but that they reflect.
La película desde el primer momento te engancha con sus escenas de acción, pero también te enternece con sus momentos conmovedores y te saca sonrisas con las impertinencias tanto de Adam piloto y niño. La relación de Adam con su madre Jennifer Garner, quien trata de entenderlo y lidiar con un chico preadolescente que extraña a su padre, pero que aun es una mujer joven para rehacer su vida. Son temas que muy inteligentemente y de manera sutil esta cinta toca sin profundizar pero que reflejan.
If I have something bad to say about this film, it is that it should have gone deeper into family relationships, but despite not doing so, it is a film to enjoy from beginning to end, well written, well directed, with impeccable photography and special effects from big productions make it worth seeing and for what we grew up watching movies like this remind us that a well-done formula can make it successful again if it has the right ingredients to do it. My score is 9 out of 10.
Si algo tengo que decir de malo de esta película es que debió profundizar más en las relaciones familiares, pero a pesar de no hacerlo es una cinta para disfrutar de principio a fin, bien escrita, bien dirigida, con una fotografía impecable y efectos especiales de grandes producciones hacen de ella que valga la pena ver y que para lo que crecimos viendo películas parecidas a esta nos recuerden que una formula bien hecha puede volver hacer exitosa si tiene los ingredientes correctos para hacerlo. Mi puntuación es 9 de 10.
