Hello friends, taking advantage of these little holidays at the end of the year, I have given myself the task of watching some films that I had pending and series, among them "The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard", the second part that I trained this year directed by Patrick Hughes, brings us back to this trio of characters (Salma, Ryan and Samuel), in a sequel that promised to leave us glued to our seats, after the successful first film. For this, this production spares no budget for special effects and a cast of front-line actors such as: Morgan Freeman, Antonio Banderas, Frank Grillo, among others.
Hola amigos, aprovechando estas pequeñas vacaciones de fin de año, me he dado a la tarea de ver algunas películas que tenia pendientes y series, entre ellas “The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard”, la segunda parte que se entreno este año dirigida por Patrick Hughes, nos trae de nuevo a este trio de personajes (Salma, Ryan y Samuel), en una secuela que prometía dejarnos pegados a nuestros asientos, luego de la exitosa primera cinta. Para ello esta producción no escatimo presupuesto en efectos especiales y un reparto de actores de primera línea como: Morgan Freeman, Antonio Banderas, Frank Grillo entre otros.
One of the things that I liked about this sequel is that Salma (Sonia Kincaid), has a more prominent role in the film, her performance is masterful and I would dare to say that I take away roles at times from Ryan (Michel Bryce) and the Assassin paid Samuel (Darius Kincaid), her husband in the film. The second parts are not always good, but this film is in the middle of good and bad, it has wonderful things like the chemistry between the characters, the interactions between Salma and Samuel, a crazy love, dysfunctional but at the same time true, loyal and even romantic in his crazy way of being. The negative is that I expected much more in the story, but it was very similar to the first film with only different villains, without leaving much of the original story.
Una de las cosas que me gustaron de está secuela es que Salma (Sonia Kincaid), tiene un papel más preponderante en la cinta, su actuación es magistral y me atrevería a decir que le quito por momentos protagonismos a Ryan (Michel Bryce) y al asesino asueldo Samuel (Darius Kincaid), su marido en la película. No siempre las segundas partes son buenas, pero esta cinta está en el medio de buena y mala, tiene cosas maravillosas como la química entre los personajes, las interacciones entre Salma y Samuel un amor loco, disfuncional pero que al mismo tiempo es verdadero, leal y hasta romántico en su loca manera de ser. Lo negativo es que esperaba mucho más en la historia, pero fue muy parecida a la primera cinta solo con villanos diferentes, sin salirse mucho de la historia original.

Ryan vuelve en su papel de guardaespaldas, que se encuentra en un dilema existencial por haber perdido su licencia de guardaespaldas, que la razón de su ser y decide irse de vacaciones a Europa, su tranquilidad será interrumpida cuando Sonia aparece para pedirle que la ayude a rescatar a Darius, acá comienzan una series de aventuras y situaciones que pondrán en peligro la vida de los involucrados, teniéndose que enfrentar a un peligroso villano (Antonio Banderas), que quiere destruir Europa a menos que hagan lo que deseen, Michel y Darius tendrán que unir fuerzas con la INTERPOL para capturar a Banderas y acabar con la amenaza.
Throughout the film, the chase, fight and shooting scenes are a well-choreographed dance where the best special effects take advantage, leaving the viewer excited. If you are looking for an entertaining movie without looking for a lesson or moral, this film is for you, it amuses you from beginning to end with its absurd sometimes situations, black and obscene humor dialogues, action from beginning to end, this is your movie. In my opinion it has a 7 out of 10.
Durante toda la cinta, las escenas de persecuciones, peleas y disparos son una danza bien coreografiaba en donde los mejores efectos especiales sacan provecho, dejando al espectador emocionado. Si buscas una película entretenida sin buscar una enseñanza o moraleja esta cinta es para ti, te divierta de principio a fin con sus absurdas a veces situaciones, diálogos de humor negro y obscenos, acción de principio a fin, esta es tú película. En mi opinión tiene un 7 de 10.
