We all have different hobbies, things we do to keep our minds and bodies in check. I have a lot of hobbies, not weird ones, just the normal ones
I'd start what binge watching my favourite tv shows and movies. Gosh I'm a sucker for good movies. I constantly check to make sure I'm up to date. I watch all genres, from action to adventure to love, you name it. I watch them because to an extent, this world will never be enough for me. They're like my dreams come to life. Movies are never limited by our realities, only by our imaginations. Some of my favorite movies and tv shows include Game of thrones, A million little things, Dune, the entire DC and marvel cinematic universe, Euphoria, my name is Khan, the greatest showman, just to name a few. In my dream house, I'm going to have a theatre room where I would just watch movies and get lost in them.
Another of my hobbies are books, reading books. Movies have their limitation, can can only have at most, 3 hours of screen time so they don't really add all the scene they need to try and fit into the time frame, whereas books, books give you an in-depth view of the whole thing. For anybody that has read Dune and watched the movie, you should know what I'm talking about. Books make our imaginations go wild. Little women, pride and prejudice, the Conspiracy theory franchise, these books are amazing. I could spend hours reading. This one time, I started reading around the ours of 11 in the morning, the next time I checked my watch, it was 5. It didn't even occur to me I had to eat. That's how good books are.
I would've added drawing to the list of things I like my I haven't really been drawing anything of late. I do hope when I'm more stable, I'd have the time to draw and paint again.
My last hobby is music. It ranges from singing to listening. I listen to a lot of music. I have up to 5,000 songs on my phone. I have no particular favorite genre. I listen to everything. I'm a music prostitute. From Travis Scott to Travis Greene, from Adele to Mercy Chinwo, from Davido to JP Cooper. All these said..I still have my favorite artists..Sam Smith, Alessia Cara, Eminem, Jon Bellion, James Arthur, Elaine, Praiz, just to name a few. I listen to music while I do almost anything. If I'm cooking, I'm listening, I'm cleaning, I'm listening. Even when I'm reading, I have some Lo-fi tuned to keep the atmosphere calm when I'm reading.
The singing part, I have a wonderful voice. Over the years, I've trained myself to get better. I wrote some songs but that was a while ago. I haven't written anything new. I just make covers of other songs. This is the hobby I enjoy the most. When I sing, I love myself. It also keeps the people around me in a good mood.
