It's been 15 days since I wrote in Movies & TV Shows, I've been busy doing several things lately, I also took the opportunity to watch this K-drama in premiere and decipher a bit the reviews it has had in South Korea, and the low TV ratings.

The series has 12 episodes in the typical, digestible format, and feels somehow enjoyable, but also overloaded by fantasy that can look unbelievable. I liked some of the plot, but not all of it is so exotic.

I can't deny that the acting of Min-Kyu Kim, as Rembrary, and Woo Yeon Woo is very good, but one actor doesn't define a whole story. I haven't seen a K-drama that has an impactful form and composition for a year now. Some productions have made it to fame, but I feel that everything has changed lately. Maybe my appreciation is because of the way genres are being approached.

Something that captivated me about this production were the messages and the constant criticism of the life behind the idols. Many hours of work, a precarious diet and a reality that is subjected to public scorn. People who issue a negative comment do not know what the other one might be going through, toxic! That human malice is deplorable and is very schematized in each of the episodes.
Algo que si me cautivó de esta producción fueron los mensajes y las críticas constantes a la vida detrás de los ídolos. Muchas horas de trabajo, una alimentación precaria y una realidad que está sometida al escarnio público. Las personas que emiten un comentario negativo no saben qué puede estar pasando la otra, ¡tóxicos! Esa malicia humana es deplorable y se ve muy esquematizada en cada uno de los episodios.
This is a TvN production. They always take risks with fantastic series, maybe they are looking for success as they did with Goblin or Encounter. The series at some point also had deficiency and it was noticed for example the lack of quality in some parts. Something that surprised me was to see this, I didn't think it could happen in a production of this kind, but it was still entertaining.
