En esta oportunidad voy a recomendar la miniserie española llamada El inocente, que fue estrenada el 30 de abril de este mismo año 2021, acabo de verla y realmente me ha parecido extraordinaria, es un thriller policiaco protagonizado por Mario Casas, que está basado en la novela homónima escrita por el autor estadounidense Harlan Coben y que fue adaptada por Netflix a través del director y guionista español Oriol Paulo, quien traslado la ambientación de la historia de la ciudad de Nueva York a Barcelona y otras localidades españolas. Este programa de televisión solo cuenta con ocho episodios de una hora o un poco más de tiempo cada uno de ellos, por lo que es ideal para verla en modo maratón durante un fin de semana, tal como yo lo hice entre ayer y hoy.
La serie tiene un ritmo trepidante, en el que parpadear puede hacernos perder de vista algún elemento que pudiera constituir una pieza clave del rompecabezas y al mismo tiempo cada capítulo genera en el espectador una gran expectativa e intriga, consiguiendo con ello que sea bastante difícil esperar varios días para consumir la siguiente dosis de esta droga audiovisual cargada suspenso, ya que podría provocar graves casos del síndrome de abstinencia. Bueno, por supuesto que estoy exagerando demasiado, pero, sí que es sumamente intensa y adictiva, es por ello que creo que lo mejor es verla de forma continua, además, así se conservan frescos los recuerdos de lo ocurrido en los capítulos anteriores.

The series has a frenetic pace, in which blinking can make us lose sight of an element that could constitute a key piece of the puzzle and at the same time each chapter generates in the viewer a great expectation and intrigue, thus making it quite difficult to wait. several days to consume the next dose of this suspense-laden audiovisual drug, as it could cause severe cases of withdrawal. Well, of course I'm exaggerating too much, but, yes, it is extremely intense and addictive, that is why I think it is best to watch it continuously, also, this way the memories of what happened in the previous chapters are kept fresh.
Argumento
Discúlpenme si soy muy superficial en la explicación de esta historia, pero tratare de mencionar la menor cantidad de aspectos de la trama para no realizar spoilers, pues en este tipo de narraciones cualquier comentario puede estar revelando detalles que resten sorpresa durante el visionado, incluso aun tratándose del contenido del primer episodio. Esencialmente, todo gira en torno a un hombre llamado Mateo Vidal que es interpretado por siendo aún muy joven se vio involucrado en una pelea y accidentalmente le causó la muerte a uno de los jóvenes envueltos en el enfrentamiento, luego de haber ido a prisión por aquel suceso y haber completado la condena respectiva, continua con su vida sin mayores contratiempos durante varios años, pero cuando todo comienza a marchar bien para él, de un momento a otro su pasado regresa para perturbar su presente.
Critica
Como ya lo he dicho, mi opinión sobre la serie es más que positiva, pero eso no significa que existan algunos elementos que me parecen un tanto negativos y quiero comentarlos acá. En primer lugar, en el episodio final luego de una trama perfectamente armada en la que múltiples personajes tienen un papel fundamental el desarrollo de los hechos, utilizando los más variados giros y motivaciones, resulta que el gran villano termina contando todo lo que hizo sin que exista una razón realmente fuerte para que este personaje se vea obligado a soltar la lengua de tal modo, no me mal interpreten, esto no arruina el capítulo, ya que todo esta tan bien hilado que eso que acabo de mencionar puede pasarse por alto, pero sí que es algo que no me cuadra del todo.
En segundo lugar y esto si es algo que podría ser un tanto molesto para determinadas personas, es que el protagonista que es quien se encuentra en el centro de todo el entramado de acontecimientos, si bien tiene algunos pequeños momentos en que toma acción y se defiende efectivamente, en especial en la situación que se esclarece durante la última escena de la serie, pero la mayor parte del tiempo se limita de forma pasiva a ser casi que un espectador de lo que le ocurre, sin poder hacer mucho por su propio bienestar, ni tampoco por el de quienes lo rodean.
Ya pasando a los aspectos más positivos de la serie, lo principal es que los personajes están muy bien desarrollados, de hecho, con cada episodio se presenta a un de los principales y se describe su historia desde su propio punto de vista y narrada por él mismo. Así mismo, las interpretaciones son muy buenas, el elenco compuesto por Mario Casas, Aura Garrido, Alexandra Jiménez y José Coronado, entre otros, es grupo actoral de primer nivel y realiza un trabajo muy acorde a sus respectivas trayectorias.

As I have already said, my opinion about the series is more than positive, but that does not mean that there are some elements that seem somewhat negative to me and I want to comment on them here. In the first place, in the final episode after a perfectly armed plot in which multiple characters play a fundamental role in the development of the events, using the most varied turns and motivations, it turns out that the great villain ends up telling everything he did without There is a really strong reason for this character to be forced to loosen his tongue in such a way, do not misunderstand me, this does not ruin the chapter, since everything is so well spun that what I just mentioned can be ignored, but yes that is something that does not add up to me at all.
Second, and this is something that could be somewhat annoying for certain people, it is that the protagonist who is at the center of the entire network of events, although he has some small moments in which he takes action and defends himself Indeed, especially in the situation that is clarified during the last scene of the series, but most of the time he is passively limited to being almost a spectator of what happens to him, without being able to do much for his own well-being, nor by that of those around him.
Now moving on to the most positive aspects of the series, the main thing is that the characters are very well developed, in fact, with each episode one of the main ones is introduced and his story is described from his own point of view and narrated by him. same. Likewise, the interpretations are very good, the cast composed of Mario Casas, Aura Garrido, Alexandra Jiménez and José Coronado, among others, is a first-rate acting group and does a job very consistent with their respective careers.
Otro punto clave es que siempre existe un ambiente de desconfianza sobre todos los personajes, lo cual en varios casos termina siendo correcto, es decir que en realidad ese determinado personaje resulta que en oculta un secreto oscuro, pero también en otros casos las dudas terminan siendo infundadas, por lo que no se puede tener total claridad de quien es bueno o malo.
Para ser sinceros, yo desde el primer momento en que vi al personaje que resulto ser el gran antagonista, me imagine que estaría detrás de todo, pero también por momentos tuve algunas dudas, tomando en cuenta eso, quizá en cierto modo puede ser previsible, aunque son tantos los cambios de dirección que se dan durante los diferentes capítulos y las piezas ocultas del rompecabezas, que siempre se albergan dudas sobre cuál es el rumbo definitivo de la narración.
Para finalizar, quiero mencionar que esta serie está pensada para una única temporada, de hecho, todo termina muy bien cerrado, a excepción de lo mostrado en la última escena, que podría entenderse como algo que simplemente pretende develar un último secreto antes de concluir la historia, pero que también podría verse como un elemento que está allí con la misión de dejar abierta la posibilidad de volver a desarrollar una nueva trama en torno a ello. De modo que, no está prevista una segunda temporada y la historia del libro en que se basó ya está concluida, tampoco es imposible que si la recepción por parte del público es muy buena, no pueda producirse una continuación.
Mi opinión al respecto de esto último, es que me parece peligroso que se dé luz verde a una nueva temporada únicamente por aprovechar la buena acogida de la primera, ya que, si no se cuenta con material narrativo ya previamente escrito en el libro, es muy posible que esa hipotética segunda temporada, no tenga el nivel de la historia original y sea un fracaso, aunque el director Oriol Paulo es un referente en el género del suspenso dentro del cine español, no estoy seguro de que pueda replicar la calidad de la trama que tiene esta primera temporada si es que le corresponde realizar una segunda desde cero, es decir sin la misión de adaptar algo ya existente en la novela, sino tener que crear una historia original.

Finally, I want to mention that this series is designed for a single season, in fact, everything ends very well closed, except for what is shown in the last scene, which could be understood as something that simply intends to reveal one last secret before concluding the history, but that could also be seen as an element that is there with the mission of leaving open the possibility of re-developing a new plot around it. So, a second season is not planned and the history of the book on which it was based is already concluded, nor is it impossible that if the reception from the public is very good, a continuation cannot take place.
My opinion regarding the latter is that it seems dangerous to give the green light to a new season only to take advantage of the good reception of the first, since, if there is no narrative material already previously written in the book, it is It is very possible that this hypothetical second season does not have the level of the original story and is a failure, although the director Oriol Paulo is a benchmark in the suspense genre within Spanish cinema, I am not sure he can replicate the quality of the film. plot that this first season has if it corresponds to make a second from scratch, that is, without the mission of adapting something already existing in the novel, but having to create an original story.
