Let's be honest… There is no bad animation movie that has come from Pixar Studios… ever… lol… Especially when it comes from the producers of the movies like Inside Out (2015), or Coco (2017), which were popular in every part of the world… Well, the movie Soul is exactly that combination of awesome people that were working on great projects in the past… Also, you will probably notice some similarities to the movie Inside Out (2015), but still, the trailer looks awesome and I hope that the movie will be great when it comes to theaters this June.
Joe is a music teacher in a middle school, but he also wants to try other things in life. Suddenly, he gets the chance to play in the best jazz club in town, but on the way back home, he had an accident that will take his soul into the other world, and he has to find the way back…
The director of the movie is Academy Award winner Pete Docter, a well-known in the animation movie genre by some of the legendary films as Inside Out (2015), Monsters, Inc. (2001), or WALL·E (2008). He had help in the movie by co-director Kemp Powers, known writer for a couple of episodes of TV Series Star Trek: Discovery (2017). Both of them were also writers of the movie with the help of Mike Jones (Incredibles 2 (2018), Coco (2017), Toy Story 4 (2019)).
Voices in the movie are spared by Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx (Django Unchained (2012), Ray (2004), Collateral (2004)), double Golden Globe winner Tina Fey (TV Series 30 Rock (2006-2013), Date Night (2010), Mean Girls (2004)), Primetime Emmy nominee Phylicia Rashad (TV Series The Cosby Show (1984–1992), For Colored Girls (2010), Creed (2015)), Quest Love (Top Five (2014), Detroit (2017)), Oscar nominee Angela Bassett (Strange Days (1995), Black Panther (2018), Contact (1997)) and others.
