Hello guys, It’s been a while I took part in the weekly featured contest due to my schedule. Today , I decided to take part in the third edition of this weeks contest.

I’m not really a movie person, but I do watch movies when I’m free or bored. This week I didn’t really have much to do so I decided to pick a movie and watch for the contest.
I had a lot of movies on my laptop but I didn’t know which to watch so I had to get a friend help pick a movie. After 30 minutes, @yahuzah convinced me to watch a movie I’ve had for over a year which I hadn’t watch. He claimed it was an interesting show. Well, I’m yet to find out.
The movie is titled Fear street. I realized it had three parts after watching the first part. It wasn’t a bad movie at all. I was glued to it the whole time.😅
This series is a horror movie about two communities, Shadyside and Sunnyvile. These two communities shared a boarder and so the people from both sides knew each other. Shadyside is know as the community with evil forces and bad incidents. The movie starts with a teen being murdered by another teen. It was such a scary seen.
As the movie unfolded, I came to understand that the town is know to have had a witch named Sarah Fier who was hanged because she was claimed to be responsible for the unfortunate things that befell the community. This witch, Sarah fier’s story has been told from generation to generation till date and all the kids knew about it. So based on the recent happenings in the community, the kids assumed it was the work of the witch.
Deena is the main character in the movie. She has a brother named Josh. Her life became a mess after an event between her school and another school in Sunnyville let to a bad argument between both sides which let to an accident on their way back. Her ex-girlfriend, Ziggy moved from Shadyside to Sunnyville after they broke up to stay away from her. This accident led to her ex girlfriend getting hurt and also possessed by this witch’s spirit.
Deena, in her quest to cure her girlfriend from this possession resorted to various means because she still loved her. This lead to series of deaths in the community as the witches zombies woke up and killed anyone who got into their way.
In the second part of this series, Deena met someone who could help tjem get rid of the curse. She found ways to get in touch with this lady who told her the story of how she lost her sister and how she never came back from that .
They joined hands to seek ways to stop all the nad stuff happening in their town.
In the third part, Deena was sent back to the olden days and saw how everything went down. She realized Sarah Fier wasn’t a witch but rather, Solomon Goode had summoned the devil and had a deal with him for good things in exchange for someone’s life.
This deal with the devil had been passed on from generation to generation in the Goode family. It then came to a realization that the Sheriff, Nick Goode was responsible for all the deaths.
Deena, her brother Josh and two others find ways and means to get rid of Sheriff Nick Goode so as to end this generational curse. At the end of this part, these four successfully got rid of Sheriff Nick Goode by killing him and ending this curse.
This movie is an 8/10 for me because the characters played their roles very well and each sense keeps you in suspense. You would yearn to see what what happens next after each event.
I would say, this is one of the best movies I’ve ever watched so you should try watching it if you’re a horror/mystery movie kind of person.
