Christmas is one of the busiest seasons of the year, as a child I always looked forward to this season. My mum would buy me a ball gown and a new pair of shoe, she would go through a high level of stress to cook the perfect meal, buy the perfect gift just to make us all happy. I saw all that, which is why I can relate to the predicament of Amy, Kiki and Carla in A Bad Mom's Christmas.

Bad Moms Christmas is focused on 3 women Kiki, Amy and Carla having a hard time to organise a perfect Christmas for their respective families. And while taking beer in the food court, they formed a rebellious bond to ditch Christmas and just have fun in any way they decide. But their plans seems to take a toll for the worse when their mother decides to spend Christmas with them. Amy's mum, Ruth,a classy controlling woman who expects perfection from her. Kiki's mum, Sandra, who loves her a little to much, in fact she is obsessed with her to the point of watching her make love to her husband!. Carla's mum, Isis is a grifter that shows up when she needs money. The three visitors pressures their daughters and the results of their actions threatens the unity of each family.

Its is disappointing to see A list actors caught up in a sloppy plot. It seems Lucas and Moore didn't know exactly what the movie should be about. They started with a theme of stressed out moms need a break! and then changed to mother daughter relationship which had nothing to do with the first theme. The characters are either dumb or boring. Hahn's Carla is the only interesting person to watch. The first franchise of Bad Moms was a whole better and it seems that Lucas and Moore were trying too hard to make this one work but unfortunately it fell short. Though there were little chuckles and jokes but the movie is not the classical Christmas movie. Though the performances of the women are great, of course they only act what they are given, however we didn't see much of the men. It seems like they were in a different movie altogether. Christine Baranski's Ruth was also fun to watch. It is a disappointing to see a great cast caught up in a sloppy plot.
