Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post bastante chévere en donde les hablaré sobre mis personajes favoritos de Dragon Ball. Este anime me acompañó durante mi infancia y le guardo un inmenso cariño, ya que lo volví a ver recientemente y me sigue dando la misma emoción que cuando era niña. Este anime posee muchos personaje increíbles,con un buen desarrollo a lo largo de la historia que hacen que empaticemos con ellos. Quiero acotar que hablaré de dichos personajes hasta Dragon Ball Z ya que no estoy al día con Super porque le perdí el hilo, así que les diré cuales son mis favoritos, comencemos!

Hello again! Today I come with a very cool post where I will tell you about my favorite Dragon Ball characters. This anime accompanied me during my childhood and I keep an immense affection for it, since I watched it again recently and it still gives me the same emotion as when I was a child. This anime has many incredible characters, with a good development throughout the story that make us empathize with them. I want to point out that I will talk about these characters until Dragon Ball Z since I am not up to date with Super because I lost the thread, so I will tell you which are my favorites, let's go!

El humano más fuerte y poderoso del universo de Dragon Ball, quizás muchos lo tachen de inútil ya que siempre lo matan y reviven pero la verdad es que a pesar de todo siempre es de mucha ayuda en las peleas contra los villanos tan fuertes que aparecen. Krillin es amigo de Gokú desde que son unos niños, ya que fueron entrenados por el maestro Roshi y siempre demostraron habilidades increíbles resaltando del resto, esto se denota en el primer duelo de las artes marciales don él derrota a contrincantes muchísimo más grandes que él. Desde ese entonces pensamos que sería el fin de nuestro amigo a manos de Piccolo Daimakú, pero creo que la muerte más memorable y cruel fue a manos del emperador Freezer, el cual lo explotó frente a los ojos de sus amigos, y gracias a ello Gokú se convirtió en Saiyajin. Aunque no se destaque por ser el más fuerte de los Guerreros Z, lo es para ser un humano, teniendo una gran valentía para enfrentar a sus enemigos y proteger a los que más quiere, esa personalidad tan audaz fue lo que conquistó a la Androide 18 y además, lo hizo formar parte de los grandes guerreros, un gran personaje.
The strongest and most powerful human in the universe of Dragon Ball, perhaps many may label him as useless because he is always killed and revived but the truth is that despite everything he is always very helpful in fights against the villains so strong that appear. También conocido como el verdadero padre de Gohan, Piccoro, Piccolo o "el señor Piccolo" es uno de los personajes con mejor desarrollo del universo de Dragon Ball. Al principio se nos muestra como uno de los villanos principales, ya que en torneo de las artes marciales donde nos lo presentan se ve muy despiadado contra sus contrincantes, sin embargo, este personaje oculta su bondad muy en el fondo ya que posee un gran honor en batalla, y esto se demuestra en la pelea contra Raditz, ya que hace equipo con Gokú y agradece el gran sacrificio que hizo Gokú, A partir de aquí notamos un lado más noble del namekiano, ya que se ofrece en entrenar a Gohan y aunque siga siendo prepotente, demuestra un gran sentido de protección hacia el pequeño, que aunque no lo quiera admitir genera un vínculo con Gohan. Este vínculo lo hace evidente cuando se sacrifica para proteger a Gohan de un mortal ataque que iba directo a Gohan. En las sagas que siguen no tiene mucho protagonismo pero aún así, se demuestra su gran nivel de pelea, como cuando pelea contra 17 y aún así lo protege de ser absorbido por Cell, y como regaña a Gohan de ser un engreído en pelea tanto con Cell y Majin Buu. Este personaje aunque siempre diga lo contrario, hace lo posible para proteger a sus compañeros y además, tiene un gran nivel analítico para elaborar estrategias en batallas.
Also known as Gohan's real father, Piccoro, Piccolo or "Mr. Piccolo" is one of the best developed characters in the Dragon Ball universe. At first we are shown as one of the main villains, as in martial arts tournament where we are introduced he looks very ruthless against his opponents, however, this character hides his goodness deep down as he possesses great honor in battle, and this is demonstrated in the fight against Raditz, From here on we notice a more noble side of the namekian, as he offers to train Gohan and although he continues to be overbearing, he shows a great sense of protection towards the little boy, which although he does not want to admit it, generates a bond with Gohan. This bond is evident when he sacrifices himself to protect Gohan from a deadly attack that was aimed directly at Gohan. In the sagas that follow he does not have much prominence but even so, his great fighting level is demonstrated, as when he fights against 17 and still protects him from being absorbed by Cell, and how he scolds Gohan for being cocky in fights with both Cell and Majin Buu. Although this character always says otherwise, he does his best to protect his teammates and also has a great analytical level to develop strategies in battles.
El hijo mayor de Gokú desde pequeño mostró grandes facultades para ser un gran guerrero, sin embargo, era muy miedoso y solo quería dedicarse a la investigación, ya que era muy inteligente. Cuando era tan solo un niño fue secuestrado por el hermano de Gokú Raditz y perdió a su padre cuando quiso rescatarlo. A pesar de ello, la pelea contra Cell no iba a ser sencilla, ya que este era muy fuerte y estaba en su fase perfecta, incluso Gokú se rindió y le cedió a Gohan el turno de pelea.

Aquí notamos que la fuerza de Gohan viene de la ira porque luego de que Cell matara a Androide 16, este se convierte en Super Saiyajin fase dos, derrotando muy fácilmente a los Cell Jr y dándole una paliza a Cell perfecto, sin embargo, se confió y su padre tuvo que sacrificarse. También quiero acotar su versión en el futuro alternativo,donde los Androides ocasionaron un apocalipsis y él es el único que sobrevive de los Guerreros Z, además de entrenar a Trunks de ese línea temporal, siendo una gran figura para él, considero que esta es la mejor versión de Gohan junto al de la saga de Cell, definitivamente un personaje que tiene mucho potencial.
Here we notice that Gohan's strength comes from anger because after Cell killed Android 16, he becomes Super Saiyan phase two, defeating very easily the Cell Jr and giving a beating to perfect Cell, however, he got confident and his father had to sacrifice himself. When Cell returned since that sacrifice didn't work out, Gohan brings out his full potential and defeats Cell, proving what a great Warrior he is. When he grows up you can see how little training he has had since he wants to be a normal teenager, however, his fight against Majin Buu for me was incredible and a moment where Gohan showed us that he was still one of the best warriors on earth. I also want to point out his version in the alternate future, where the Androids caused an apocalypse and he is the only one who survives of the Z Warriors, besides training Trunks from that timeline, being a great figure for him, I consider this to be the best version of Gohan next to the one from the Cell saga, definitely a character that has a lot of potential.
Un personajes que aunque no tuvo mucha participación en el universo de Dragon Ball, fue sumamente importante para el desarrollo de la serie. Trunks viene de una línea temporal donde los androides 17 y 18 hacen destrozos por gusto, asesinando a todos los guerreros Z incluido su padre Vegeta, viviendo solo con su madre Bulma y sobreviviendo como pueden. Gohan es el único que enfrenta a los androides y les da pelea, visitando a Bulma y Trunks de vez en cuando. Trunks admira mucho a Gohan y le pide que le enseñe a pelear ya que tiene sangre Saiyajin, y aunque al principio Gohan se muestra reacio, acepta enseñarle a Trunks todo lo que sabe. A Trunks le cuesta convertirse en Super Saiyajin pero aún así Gohan le enseña tácticas de pelea cuerpo a cuerpo. Un día Gohan aparece sin un brazo y entrena a Trunks como siempre, sin embargo los androides vuelven a hacer destrozos y Gohan noquea al joven para que no intervenga en la peligrosa pelea. Cuando Trunks despierta ve que todo está en ruinas y se da cuenta que Gohan murió en batalla, y durante su rabia junto con tristeza inmensa se convierte en Super Saiyajin.
A character that although he did not have much participation in the Dragon Ball universe, was extremely important for the development of the series. Trunks comes from a timeline where androids 17 and 18 wreak havoc for fun, killing all the Z-warriors including his father Vegeta, living alone with his mother Bulma and surviving as best they can. Gohan is the only one who stands up to the androids and fights them, visiting Bulma and Trunks from time to time. Trunks greatly admires Gohan and asks him to teach him how to fight since he has Saiyan blood, and although Gohan is reluctant at first, he agrees to teach Trunks everything he knows. Trunks has a hard time becoming Super Saiyan but Gohan still teaches him hand-to-hand fighting tactics. One day Gohan shows up without an arm and trains Trunks as usual, however the androids again wreak havoc and Gohan knocks the young man out so he won't intervene in the dangerous fight. When Trunks wakes up he sees that everything is in ruins and realizes that Gohan died in battle, and during his rage along with immense sadness he becomes Super Saiyan.
Luego de dos años se ve a un Trunks más grande trayendo comida para él y su madre, creyendo que puede contra los androides les da pelea pero como su madre supo, Trunks perdió. Bulma le ofrece regresar al pasado en una máquina del tiempo que ella construyó para darle una medicina del corazón a Gokú para que no muera y así ayude a derrotar a los androides. Trunks viaja al pasado y conoce a los Guerreros Z y le pide a Gokú que guarde su secreto. Para vencer a Cell Trunks entrena con su padre Vegeta, bastante nervioso y un poco decepcionado con la actitud arrogante que tiene el príncipe de los Saiyajins. Ocurre la pelea, Gokú se sacrifica y todo eso, pero cuando Cell reaparece lo primero que hace es matar a Trunks del futuro, lo cual llena de ira a Vegeta y va contra Cell para sorpresa de todos para luego ayudar a Gohan a derrotarlo. Trunks es revivido y supo lo que hizo su padre, conmoviendólo mucho ya que al regresar al futuro le cuenta a Bulma lo que hizo, sorprendiéndola. Considero que Trunks ayudó mucho al desarrollo de la historia, supo el gran potencial de Gohan, colaboró en el desarrollo de personaje de Vegeta, logró que los Guerreros Z explotaran su potencial y además, es un gran guerrero y gran persona, con un historia increíble. Definitivamente un tremendo personaje.
After two years an older Trunks is seen bringing food for him and his mother, believing he can fight the androids, but as his mother found out, Trunks lost. Bulma offers him to go back in time in a time machine she built to give Goku heart medicine so he won't die and help defeat the androids. Trunks travels to the past and meets the Z Warriors and asks Goku to keep his secret. To defeat Cell Trunks trains with his father Vegeta, quite nervous and a little disappointed with the arrogant attitude that has the prince of the Saiyans. The fight happens, Goku sacrifices himself and all, but when Cell reappears the first thing he does is kill Trunks from the future, which fills Vegeta with anger and he goes against Cell to everyone's surprise to then help Gohan defeat him. Trunks is revived and learned what his father did, touching him a lot since when he returns to the future he tells Bulma what he did, surprising her. I consider that Trunks helped a lot in the development of the story, he knew the great potential of Gohan, he collaborated in the development of Vegeta's character, he made the Z Warriors exploit their potential and besides, he is a great warrior and a great person, with an incredible story. Definitely a tremendous character.
Muchos de los que me conocen saben que este es mi personaje favorito ya que cada vez que surge el tema de conversación sobre Dragon Ball lo nombro hasta la saciedad. Este personaje es presentado como uno de los villanos principales con la motivación de destruir la tierra y a sus habitantes, sobre todo al saiyajin de clase baja Kakaroto, el cual es el nombre real de Gokú, pero es derrotado y se regresa sumamente humillado. Sin embargo al regresar aparece Freezer y se nota el gran orgullo del príncipe de los Saiyajin, ya que le molesta mucho que Freezer sea más fuerte, su odio hacia él es tan grande que forma una alianza con los Guerreros Z para pelear contra él y al morir a manos del emperador le pide a Kakaroto que le gane. Vegeta revive y al ver que Kakaroto se convirtió en el legendario súper saiyajin su orgullo queda destrozado, ya que no puede creer que un guerrero de clase baja sea el de la leyenda. Luego llega la saga de Cell, después de entrenar bastante y convertirse en Saiyajin quiere pelear con solo con los androides, pero es derrotado y humillado de nuevo. En esta saga vemos que Vegeta tuvo un hijo con Bulma y conoce a ese mismo bebé pero del futuro, llamado Trunks (sí, el que mencioné antes) y esto es un gran impacto en Vegeta. Entrena en la habitación del Tiempo y se hace mucho más fuerte confiado en que vencerá a Cell perfecto.
Many of the people who knows me know that this is my favorite character since every time the topic of conversation about Dragon Ball comes up I mention him ad nauseam. This character is presented as one of the main villains with the motivation to destroy the earth and its inhabitants, especially the low class saiyan Kakaroto, which is the real name of Goku, but he is defeated and returns extremely humiliated. However, when he returns Freezer appears and the great pride of the prince of the Saiyan is noticed, since it bothers him a lot that Freezer is stronger, his hatred towards him is so great that he forms an alliance with the Z Warriors to fight against him and when he dies at the hands of the emperor, he asks Kakaroto to beat him. Vegeta revives and upon seeing that Kakaroto became the legendary super saiyan his pride is shattered, as he cannot believe that a low class warrior is that of the legend. Then comes the saga of Cell, after training quite a bit and becoming Saiyan he wants to fight with just the androids, but he is defeated and humiliated again. In this saga we see that Vegeta had a son with Bulma and meets that same baby but from the future, named Trunks (yes, the one I mentioned before) and this is a big impact on Vegeta. He trains in the Time room and becomes much stronger confident that he will defeat perfect Cell.
Pero aún así no puede ganarle a Cell y regresa a la habitación del tiempo con su hijo del futuro y participa en el torneo. Cuando Gokú se sacrifica y vuelve Cell este asesina a su hijo Trunks, llenándose de ira y atacando sin éxito a Cell, pero posteriormente ayuda a Gohan y hasta se disculpa por haber causado problemas, viendo que llega a aceptar sus errores para sorpresa de todos. Todo se pone genial en la saga de Majin Buu, ya que Vegeta se deja manipular por el cruel Bábidi para volver a ser cruel como antes ya que no acepta que se haya adaptado a la vida en la tierra, incluso llegando a formar una familia y quiere pelear contra Kakaroto, sin embargo luego de esta pelea se arrepiente de lo que hizo y decide sacrificarse para derrotar a Majin Buu, poniendo por delante el bienestar de sus seres queridos siendo el mejor actor de este hombre. No obstante fue en vano, pero gracias a ese noble sacrificio le permiten viajar a la tierra desde el más allá para ayudar a derrotar a Majin Buu y aceptar la superioridad de Kakaroto, alternándose con él para ganar tiempo. Al final es revivido, ayuda a Gokú a generar una gran genkidama y derrotan a Buu. Realmente Vegeta me parece el personaje mejor desarrollado, sigue teniendo mucho orgullo, pero fue descubriendo los sentimientos de bondad que posee y dándolos a relucir poco a poco, a pesar de todo quiere hacerse más fuerte y protege a los que ama, manteniendo su personalidad demostrando a su manera el cariño que le tiene a su familia y amigos, definitivamente el mejor personaje!
But he still can't beat Cell and returns to the time room with his son from the future and participates in the tournament. However it was in vain, but thanks to that noble sacrifice he is allowed to travel to earth from the afterlife to help defeat Majin Buu and accept Kakaroto's superiority, alternating with him to buy time. In the end he is revived, helps Goku generate a great genkidama and they defeat Buu. Vegeta really seems to me the best developed character, he still has a lot of pride, but he was discovering the feelings of kindness he possesses and bringing them out little by little, despite everything he wants to become stronger and protects those he loves, keeping his personality showing in his own way the affection he has for his family and friends, definitely the best character!
