¡Saludos gente de Hive!**

Greetings Hive people!**
I hope you are very well, today I bring you as a review a series that if you are lovers or are interested in the themes of crimes, murders, mysteries and serial killers, perhaps this series will interest you. Since long before I have always liked this type of content as it puts very much in play the dynamics and behaviors of human beings as those seeking to solve the crime, as the one who commits them and that is very interesting to me. Usually this type of series are usually very long and extensive in seasons, but this one is relatively short as it only has 3 seasons with a few chapters.
I can say that this series about the serial killer Dr. Hannibal I liked the most the interpretation that Mads Mikkelsen gives him is sublime, the elegance and aesthetic personality of the character as a murderer and at the same time the aesthetics and precision of a surgeon and psychiatry doctor. As in all my reviews I offer you a summary, an analysis of the main characters that are essential to the plot and my comments.

Summary**
The story centers on Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) a professor of criminology at the FBI who is hired by director Jack Crawford (Laurence Fishburne) to help him solve some homicide cases, especially the cases that have to do with a murderer called the "Ripper" who randomly chooses his victims and extracts organs such as lungs, kidneys, liver, heart, etc. in a precise and surgical way. Will is not just an ordinary professor, but he is a good detective in serial killer cases since he suffers from an empathy disorder that makes him practically understand how the killers' minds work, their motivations, what they feel when committing the murders and the links they may have had with the victims, besides being able to mentally recreate how the murder happened. This ability, despite being very useful for the investigations, causes Will mental health problems in his own conscience due to the exhaustion generated by recreating the murders, which is assigned to Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen), a psychiatrist doctor in charge of supervising Will's psychological state and acting as a consultant for the FBI, without knowing at all that the "Ripper" they are looking for is Hannibal himself, who murders and eats the organs extracted from his victims.
The series is available on Amazon Prime, has 3 seasons with a duration of 59 minutes per episode.

Análisis de personaje**
**
Character analysis**

Will Graham (Hugh Dancy): This character is the clear representation that inside the good things we can have or useful, at the same time can be something bad or harmful to us and vice versa. Will starts as the typical victim of a system that only exploits him for having a unique ability, taking advantage of his shy, withdrawn and manipulable personality and that at its most critical point where he begins to doubt his own conscience, those who should help him do not do so and only continue to exploit him and the one who was supposed to be helping him, only pushes him further towards his imbalance because he has an interest in him. All this so that he then exploits the opposite of his personality, taking possession of his intellectual abilities and believing that he can move the pieces of the board without anyone's permission, so that in the end he reaches a point where he does not know which side he is on or what motivations move him now, he is only aware of what he has done, what he cares about and what he wants for himself.
Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen): Questioning everything and philosophizing about specific issues or situations, is his perfect hook to capture the attention of the majority who crosses paths with him, makes him look interesting, sympathetic and a person who can contribute, especially in those very concrete and reasonable minded people like Jack Crawford from whom he wins their sympathy, friendship and trust, without suspecting in the least that he is in front of one of his biggest killers who only plays with him, since he does not consider him someone at his level. Like all psychopaths with delusions of grandeur, money, reputation and the ability to kill make him believe he is a god who can say who lives and who does not live according to his criteria, all these attributes make him unsuspected by others, plus his reputation as a psychiatrist doctor does justice to his great intellect to commit crimes in an aesthetic way that leaves no trace or evidence that links him. He is good at solving FBI crimes because he knows how serial killers work and what mistakes they make (mistakes that he would not make of course), only Will Graham manages to capture his attention and through his therapeutic analysis with him he begins to admire him in a certain way, since he is the only one who besides questioning him can understand him.

As a series of criminology, mystery and suspense I think it is a very good series, which should have more receptivity than it received. Each case that is presented is not isolated as in other crime series but a murder in some way or another will connect with another and if you are not attentive to details like that, it may seem surprising what happens. The series also seems to me that it covers real situations that could be questioned, such as the policies of the security agencies, which prefer to maintain a good image rather than accept any mistake, as well as the personal and professional interests of each person.
Something that also strikes me is the duality between Will and Hannibal, they are almost the perfect team to solve murders as committing them if they set their minds to it, clearly the only difference between them is that in Will there are his principles and his sense of what is right to a certain point of things and Hannibal is a remorseless killer and the only interest that matters is his own. Also that in the series both seem to complement each other, Hannibal gives Will the self-questioning of himself and to take ownership of his decisions and interests, and Will gives Hannibal a space with whom to vent his ideas and feel understood by someone.
Now in things that I did not like or at least in the negative aspects that could be improved, is the fact that the series is not given to understand at the beginning, you do not know what is happening, what happens or what happens at the time it starts. Also that sometimes many chapters are redundant in the same thing that reaches a point to seem too repetitive and boring. And finally, for my personal criteria, the series could have culminated adequately in the 2nd season, since in the 3rd season much of the essence of the previous two is lost.
