I hope you are doing well! I was just waiting for this moment to bring you this review, the last chapter of Ahsoka’s series was released here in Venezuela on Wednesday the 4th and just yesterday I was able to watch it✨ I’m not going to lie, in terms of liking the ending, I’m half-hearted, I didn’t like it at all, evidently there are things that I emphasized and I find incredible, but I am also a good follower of the plot of each work and right here is where the ending fell down, it is not the worst or the best, it is an ending, but it does not spoil everything built in the series if we know how to appreciate it. But well I’m giving you a lot of word and nothing to start with hahaha, as in all my reviews I offer a brief summary, and at the end my comments that are clearly my opinion and let me warn you that there will be Spoilers!!!

Our story in a galaxy far, far away, begins with the former apprentice of the Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, who as a former adult Jedi, in a galaxy where the Galactic Empire was defeated and the new Republic rises very slowly, Ahsoka has been on the trail of two very crucial people in history, the strategic Admiral Thrawn who because he leads to the extinction of the rebel alliance in Lozal thanks to his intelligence and ingenuity, and the Jedi Ezra Brigder, who in their last encounter, sacrificed himself by setting a trap for the admiral taking him to an unknown galaxy without being able to follow them. Ahsoka wanting to follow the trail because if Thram is alive he could return as heir to the empire and end everything, that is why there is an interstellar map that could be the key to find him, but because the map is encrypted, he goes in search of someone who can read abstract things like that old map, Sabine Wren, a Mandalorian heroine who served in the crew of the Phantom and former Padawan of Ahsoka, who hopes that his friend Ezra is alive. Parallel to the events, a new Republic prisoner ship is boarded and attacked by two former Jedi Baylan Skoll and his apprentice Shin Hati who now as mercenaries, free Morgan Elsbeth, who is a faithful follower of Thram and now free will set in motion her plan to find him and bring him to this galaxy.

What can I tell you folks? I'll try to be as objective as possible even though I'm a big fan of the Star Wars saga and there are many things that seriously caused me Hype 😅. But well, in if the chapters seem to me that they are well structured in if of the plot, showing several points in how the story progresses and that everything is happening one step ahead of Ahsoka. On the other hand, I feel that the chapters should be more because it feels like they try to cover a lot of things in a 45min, but well it's Disney and that's their way of releasing the series. The chapters, although it is a bit necessary to have context to understand the plot and everything that happens, it explains very well how the development will be and the surprises that would come in each chapter, the unknown to see the next one and how they could reach the next goal.

Another good thing about the series is that it maintains the personality, voice, gestures and dynamics of the characters of other series like Rebels or The Clone Wars, which is something that generates nostalgia and makes you focus on watching it. For me to keep basic and small aspects of people taken from installments such as series and bring them to Live Action is something that is always appreciated, because it indicates that it is the same character and not something different that you want to ignore. Star Wars fans had always believed that Ahsoka's character was developed, but no, as Anakin himself said, she still had to learn despite her age, and she did it, she ended up rebuilding and forgiving herself to be reborn and all that without interfering in the story, but becoming part of the plot.

Now let's go with the negative, the only character that was not respected in its essence here if I can not defend Davi Filoni, is Thrawn, that is not close to the Thrawn of the canonical novels and much less in its beginnings of the series, we could believe that this is something small for not keeping the essence of this character, but the detail is that essence is what just makes this character important and the great danger he represents, but if we turn it the opposite we were no longer talking about someone who influences the fear in the first chapters. On the other hand, the last chapter is the only one that does not maintain the dynamics of the previous ones, all the mysteries that they built from the beginning 1 they kept leaving it as a mystery in the last chapter where they were supposed to at least explain or see more, but no, they only showed us details and we went that if very well can be incredible, it does not remove the fact that the plot of the last chapter does not make sense, it seemed that it would have been done as because it had to end it and they did not know how the characters could get out unscathed. It's not the best ending and it's really not very good, but it doesn't damage anything else that has been built.

Espero se encuentren muy bien! Justamente esperaba este momento para traerles está reseña, el último capítulo de la serie de Ahsoka ya se estrenó aquí en Venezuela el día miércoles 4 y justamente ayer pude verlo✨ no los voy a mentir, en términos de gustarme el final, me quedo a medias, no me gustó del todo, evidentemente hay cosas que recalcó y me parecen increíbles, pero también soy un buen seguidor de la trama de cada obra y justo aquí es donde el final cayó en picada, no es el peor ni el mejor, es un final, pero tampoco hecha a perder todo lo construido en la serie si sabemos apreciarlo. Pero bueno les estoy dando mucha palabra y nada que comienzo jajaja, como en todas mis reseñas les ofrezco un breve resumen, y al final mis comentarios que son netamente mi opinión y déjame advertirte que habrá Spoilers!!

Nuestra historia en una galaxia muy muy lejana, comienzan con la ex aprendiz del caballero Jedi Anakin Skywalker, que ya siendo una ex Jedi adulta, en una galaxia donde el Imperio Galáctico fue derrotado y la nueva República se alza muy lentamente, Ahsoka ha estado tras la pista de dos personas muy cruciales en la historia, el estratégico Almirante Thrawn quien porque lleva a la extinción a la alianza rebelde en Lozal gracias a su inteligencia e ingenio, y al Jedi Ezra Brigder, quien en su último encuentro, se sacrificó teniéndole una trampa al almirante llevándolo a una galaxia desconocida sin poder seguirlos. Ahsoka queriendo seguir el rastro ya que de estar Thram vivo podría volver como heredero del imperio y acabar con todo, es por ello que haya un mapa interestelar que podría ser la clave para hayarlo, pero debido a que el mapa se encuentra cifrado, va en búsqueda de alguien que sabe leerlo cosas abstractas como ese viejo mapa, Sabine Wren, una heroína Mandaloriana que sirvió en la tripulación del Fantasma y antigua Padawan de Ahsoka, quien tiene la esperanza de que su amigo Ezra está vivo. Paralelamente a los acontecimientos, una nave de prisioneros de la nueva República es abordada y atacada por dos ex Jedi Baylan Skoll y su aprendiz Shin Hati que ahora como mercenarios, liberan Morgan Elsbeth, quien es una fiel seguidora de Thram y ahora libre pondrá en marcha su plan para encontrarlo y traerlo a esta galaxia.

Que les puedo decir amigos? Trataré de ser lo más objetivo posible pese a que soy un gran fan de la saga de Star Wars y hay muchas cosas que en serio me causaron Hype 😅. Pero bueno, en si los capítulos me parecen que están bien estructurados en si de la trama, mostrando varios puntos en como la historia avanza y que todo está sucediendo un paso por delante de Ahsoka. Por otro lado, siento que los capítulos deberían ser más porque si se siente que tratan de abarcar muchas cosas en un 45min, pero bueno es Disney y así es su forma de estrenar la serie. Los capítulos pese a que es un poco necesario tener contexto para entender la trama y todo lo que sucede, va explicando muy bien cómo será el desarrollo y las sorpresas que vendrían en cada capítulo, la incógnita para ver el siguiente y de como podrían llegar al siguiente objetivo

Otra cosa buena de la serie es que mantiene la personalidad, la voz, los gestos y la dinámica de los personajes de otras series como Rebels o The Clon Wars, cosa que es algo que genera nostalgia y hace que te centres en verla. Para mí mantener aspectos básicos y pequeños de personas sacados de entregas como series y llevarlos al Live Action es algo que siempre se agradece, porque indica que es el mismo personaje y no algo diferente que quieras ignorar. Los fans de Star Wars siempre habíamos creído que el personaje de Ahsoka estaba desarrollado, pero no, como dijo el mismo Anakin, aún le quedaba por aprender pese a su edad, y vaya que lo hizo, termino de reconstruirse y perdonarse a si misma para poder renacer y todo eso sin interferir en la historia, sino volviéndola parte de la trama.

Ahora vamos con lo negativo, el único personaje que no respetaron en su esencia aquí si no puedo defender Davi Filoni, es Thrawn, ese no se acerca al Thrawn de la novelas canónicas y mucho menos en sus inicios de la serie, podríamos creer que esto es algo pequeño por no mantener la esencia de este personaje, pero el detalle es que esencia es lo que justo hace importante a este personaje y el gran peligro que representa, pero si lo volvemos todo lo contrario ya no estábamos hablando de alguien que influya en el temor en los primeros capítulos. Por otro lado, el último capítulo es el único que no mantiene la dinámica de los anteriores, todos los misterios que construyeron desde el inicio 1 lo siguieron dejando como un misterio en el último capítulo donde se supone que al menos deberían explicarse o ver más, pero no, solo nos mostraron detalles y fuimos que si muy bien pueden ser increíbles, no quita el hecho de que la trama de el último capítulo no tiene sentido, pareciera que se habría hecho como porque había que terminarlo y no sabían cómo los personajes podrían salir ilesos. No es el mejor final y realmente no es muy bueno, pero no daña para nada lo demás que se ha construido
