Hello, Steemians, and a happy new year. A quick post to start off the new year then. Below are a few of my favorite shots from the Japanese film The Forest of Love, directed by Sion Sono and available for viewing on Netflix. This marks his final film of 2019 and is based on real life events. The film tells the story of a group of friends eager to make an awarding winning film. After adding a young busker named Shin to their group, they set out to have him lose his virginity.
This leads them to meet Taeko and her old school mate, Mitsuko, the latter of whom gets involved with a confidence trickster by the the name of Joe Murata . Joe's smooth talking and manipulations leads the group on a chaotic and insanity ridden path to destruction. But all is not as it seems, enjoy the ride :).
