Am a fan of Kelvin Hart, that means when ever I mostly come across his movie I usually watch it.
Summary of the Movie Nigh school is a comedy drama movie that was released in 2018. The movie started with a high school boy, Teddy (Kelvin Hart), who didn't like school and complained about it.
They had a test in the school, and since he found it difficult to concentrate and couldn't answer the question, while the text was still going he left the hall and dropped out of school.
17 years later, Teddy was doing well as a salesperson in a barbecue grill store. The manager of the store calls him to inform him that he was proud of him and wished he was his son, so he told Teddy that when he retires, he would want Teddy to take over the store. Teddy could not believe it; he was super excited. He made a plan to propose marriage to his girlfriend.
However, on the day of the proposal, his life took another turn. He proposed to Lisa at the store where he organized the marriage surprise proposal and when she accepted his proposal, he was excited, and when he was trying to pop champagne, the cork pops open a gas tank, which leads to an explosion.
The manager took the insurance he got from the explosion and left the city.
Teddy was now left jobless. While searching for a job, his friend told him he could get a job in his financial investment firm on the condition that he has to get his GED.
Teddy went back to his former high school with the intention of charming the principal into giving him the GED certification, only for him to discover the new principal is Stewart, a guy from his high school who doesn't like him.
Teddy is left with no choice but to enroll in night school, where he get to meet with Carrie (Tiffany Haddish) their teacher, a caring but tough lady.
My opinion and review
The movie is a heartwarming, hilarious comedy that showcases the importance of education, personal growth and development, and also the power of perseverance. Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish are the main highlights of the movie for me. They both did exceptionally well; Kevin Hart brought into the movie his charm and charisma.
The movie is engaging and filled with positive vibes. It also has a good storyline that teaches perseverance and honesty.
I would rate if 4/5
Recommendation Night school is a great choice for people that love comedy and want to wind down.
