I was completely unaware of this crime series that follows the life and work of a talented detective known as John Luther. I found out about it after watching the film with the same name of the character released in 2023 with an excellent cast. The series is made up as follows:

**Origin**

  Each episode lasts almost an hour and the closing of the series was made with the movie I mentioned before that if I remember correctly lasts almost 2 hours. I honestly loved both the series and the movie, it's a gem, and the character of Luther is amazing to me.

  He specializes in the study of human behavior, he is aware of every gesture, every word, every body movement made by the psychopath learned or captured by him at the time or as the series progresses.

**Origin**

  Note that I say piscopathic and not criminal. This is what makes the Luther series stand out from other crime series. The criminals he is forced to chase to jail are psychopaths or sociopaths who are not common and who possess a different intelligence than the common criminal who only rapes or robs a bank.

  For his part, Luther always tries to be one step ahead of the bad guys, and only occasionally is he at a disadvantage. Without knowing the person or knowing what their face looks like, he manages to recognize and hit on explicit and irregular behavior that the criminal might possess and this to me is another level and quality of a cop.

**Origin**

  From narcissistic sociopaths to cannibals or psychopaths who drink human blood, Luther is a cop who in addition to chasing these out-of-the-ordinary criminals, must also work to fix his love life. While some of his peers consider him a good cop, most categorize him as corrupt but to me he's a character who does the best he can under the worst of circumstances.

  It should be noted that the series has an incredible cast and extremely strong characters. One of the most outstanding, for example, is Alice Morgan, a psychopath who feels attraction for Luther since she meets him and they form a strange relationship in which she helps him in quite complicated cases and in which she has to "get her hands dirty".

**Origin**

  The series closed with a bang when the movie premiered in 2023 and to this day is considered one of the best crime series of all time, to me it's even better than Law and Order: Special Victims Unit. In addition, Idris Elba won a Golden Globe for his portrayal of Luther and the series itself was nominated for 41 film awards, of which it won a total of 10.

  For having incredible characters, very well developed, as well as a plot full of intrigues and stressful situations in which you don't know what will happen, I give it 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 of 5 Little Golden Stars. And I recommend it to the 💯% to enjoy a weekend with a good ration of popcorn.
