Hello to all the #MoviesAndTVShows Community. During my days away I couldn't help but watch a few series and movies of the genre I like the most: Terror. And even though I had heard bad reviews about this film, I decided to give it a chance. Today I will give you my opinion about Suspiria.

  The movie had long ago caught my attention because of the actresses working there. No I didn't get to see it when it was on Netflix and the truth is I decided to give it a chance after reading the opinion of Dakota Johnson herself where she stated that after debuting in this role, she was forced to go to therapy because the film generated certain traumas in her.

  I was so intrigued by that opinion that I had to give it a chance, it included dancers and it was in the horror genre, what could go wrong? So here's what I liked and what I didn't like about this movie itself.

  Dakota I thought she gave a great performance, I liked to see her in this facet of professional dance, with a lot of innocence and humility, as the other dancers were also very good but she had something that made her stand out. Innate talent so to speak.

  Another aspect that I loved about the film was the style that the director wanted to give to the film, that is to say, that style with camera approaches in certain scenes like in the 60-70's, typical of horror movies, it reminded me a lot of Psychosis. As well as the quality of the images.

  Another aspect that I quite liked was the "Dance” scene, one that for my taste was quite strange but taking into account the context of the whole film, all those sudden and weird movements made sense.

  I understand that there is a version from the 70s where they show situations similar to this version, only instead of being a dance academy, they do it in an orphanage. In any case, the modern touch that they gave to the film in 2018 was not very popular and most prefer the first version.

  After seeing this version I didn't want to see the 70's version. Since it seemed very incoherent to me. Although I understood from the start that it was about a dance academy made up of women who belonged to a coven, from the beginning the film seemed strange.

  That is, as if it had no starting point, in fact when I started watching it I thought it was another movie. This type of film started badly and ended badly. It is not that type of film in which you can see the beginning, the development, and then the outcome. This was inconsistency from start to finish.

  Another aspect that I didn't like was the exaggerated Gore touch they gave it. I don't know what the director wanted to show or capture in the end. The movie is extremely strange, the only thing I understood was that it was about a group of witches who worshiped a demon through their strange dances.

  For not making sense, for exaggerating with some scenes, and for the few aspects that I liked about the movie, for my part I give it 🌟🌟 of 5 Little Golden Stars. I also don't recommend it because I didn't find it scary in itself. I mean no, now after seeing it I understand why Dakota was traumatized.
