Saludos cinéfilos de #CineTV. Como ya sabrán soy super fan del cine de terror. Es por ello que el día de hoy vengo a darles mi opinión sobre La maldición de Hill House. Una serie de Netflix que me resulta una joya en este género y también una de mis favoritas por lograr asustarme tanto de manera inesperada.
Para mí esta serie se caracteriza por llevar su trama de terror más allá. En The Hill House se cuenta la historia de una familia compuesta por 5 niños y sus padres, los cuales se mudan a una casa algo lúgubre alejada de la civilización con el fin de restaurarla para venderla pero, a medida que transcurren los días, empiezan a suceder cosas extrañas o mejor dicho sobrenaturales.
El enfoque que se le da a la historia, gira en torno al duelo, la pérdida y traumas que vienen acompañados por un sutil terror. Los personajes experimentan un drama familiar profundo, que se basa en la experiencia oscura que tuvieron de niños viviendo en una casa que aparentemente está maldita.

El director juega con escenas del presente y del pasado, desglosando poco a poco la experiencia y el trauma de cada integrante de la familia. Y lo que se mantiene en ambas facetas temporales, es la tragedia que une a cada uno de los protagonistas. La muerte siempre ha sido parte de su historia familiar, pero vivir en esa casa fue lo peor que les sucedió a todos.
Lo que más me gustó de esta serie fue la forma en la que enfocaron el género del terror. Cada fantasma, cada espíritu maligno no un espectro con alma en pena que murió trágicamente en esa casa, estas entidades se manifiestan de acuerdo al dolor, miedo, trauma y culpa que lleva arrastrando cada integrante de esta peculiar familia.

La narrativa de la historia se muestra fragmentada pero está muy bien elaborada y al final todo encaja como un hermoso rompecabezas. Esta es una de esas series que te deja pensando y queriendo saber más sobre qué vendrá después o ¿cómo podrá terminar esta maldición? ¿Podrán ser felices?
Es por ello que como espectador no puedes evitar sentir empatía por sus protagonistas. Cada uno de ellos aporta una historia impecable a la trama y además la casa como tal donde sucedieron los hechos en el pasado, se puede considerar como un protagonista silencioso ya que el director se enfoca en darle la relevancia que merece para que destaque.

A su vez, esta serie posee un toque de terror psicológico capaz de plasmar tensión en su espectador, a tal punto de exaltar inesperadamente en varias ocasiones a quien la disfruta con la luz apagada en el cuarto y de manera solitaria.
El director hizo tan buen trabajo que sabe hacer cómo erizar la piel con cada fantasma oculto en esa casa que se alimenta del dolor, la desgracia y la tragedia de quien habita en ella. Por lo tanto se puede decir que la serie está cargada de detalles que hacen que quien la vea, logre disfrutarla de principio a fin.

En conclusión sólo añadiré que la serie es una obra maestra del terror moderno. Una historia que te permite reflexionar, sentir empatía hacia sus protagonistas y sobre todo, asustarte un montón. Así que si buscas ver algo diferente, que te haga sentir miedo y a la vez te conmueva, esta serie es para ti.
Se estrenó en el 2018 pero a mí me gustó tanto que estoy por verla de nuevo. Desde hace días tengo ganas de ver una historia de terror muy bien hecha y qué mejor opción que darle una nueva oportunidad a la Maldición de Hill House. De mi parte la recomiendo y le doy sus bien merecidas:

Greetings, movie lovers from #CineTV. As you may already know, I am a huge fan of horror movies. That's why today I'm here to give you my opinion on The Haunting of Hill House. A Netflix series that I consider a gem in this genre and also one of my favorites for managing to scare me so much in such unexpected ways.
For me, this series stands out for taking its horror plot to the next level. The Haunting of Hill House tells the story of a family with five children and their parents, who move into a somewhat gloomy house far from civilization with the aim of restoring it to sell it. However, as the days go by, strange, or rather supernatural, things begin to happen.
The story's approach revolves around grief, loss, and trauma, accompanied by a subtle sense of terror. The characters experience a profound family drama based on their dark experiences as children living in a seemingly cursed house.

The director plays with scenes from the present and the past, gradually unraveling the experiences and traumas of each family member. And what remains consistent throughout both time frames is the tragedy that unites each of the protagonists. Death has always been part of their family history, but living in that house was the worst thing that ever happened to them.
What I liked most about this series was the way they approached the horror genre. Each ghost, each evil spirit, isn't a specter with a tormented soul who tragically died in that house. These entities manifest themselves according to the pain, fear, trauma, and guilt each member of this peculiar family carries with them.

The narrative is fragmented but very well crafted, and in the end, everything fits together like a beautiful puzzle. This is one of those series that leaves you wondering and wanting to know more about what will happen next, or how this curse can end? Can they ever be happy?
That's why, as a viewer, you can't help but feel empathy for its protagonists. Each of them contributes an impeccable story to the plot, and the house itself, where the events took place, can be considered a silent protagonist, as the director focuses on giving it the importance it deserves so that it stands out.

At the same time, this series has a touch of psychological horror capable of instilling tension in its viewer, to the point of unexpectedly exalting on several occasions those who watch it with the lights off in the room and alone.
The director did such a good job that he knows how to make your skin crawl with every ghost hidden in that house, which feeds on the pain, misfortune, and tragedy of its inhabitants. Therefore, it can be said that the series is full of details that make anyone who watches it enjoy it from beginning to end.

In conclusion, I'll just say that the series is a masterpiece of modern horror. A story that allows you to reflect, feel empathy for its protagonists, and, above all, scares the hell out of you. So if you're looking for something different, that both scares and moves you, this series is for you.
It premiered in 2018, but I loved it so much that I'm about to watch it again. I've been craving a well-made horror story for days, and what better way to do it than to give The Haunting of Hill House another chance. I highly recommend it and give it its well-deserved praise:
