Alita: Battle Angel is an action movie. Alita was a cyborg who was found by Dr. Dyson Ido in a scrapyard. He repairs her and gives her a new body, but Alita has no memory of who she was or where she came from.
As Alita gets involved in Iron City, she begins discovering that she is much more powerful and skilled than an ordinary cyborg. Her memories gradually return, revealing that she was once a highly trained warrior from a powerful civilization.
The moment Alita wakes up after Dr. Dyson Ido repaired her, she begins learning how to walk, and so she begins to start some training. Dr. Dyson Ido observes that Alita was so special, and so he trains her and guides her like a father to her.
The moment Alita steps out, when she stood by the way and a robot was coming, Hugo knew she was new in the city, so he helped her, and she helped a little puppy. The skills she used showed him she was very skillful. From that moment, their conversation had some connection in it.
I really love the relationship in which Alita and Hugo built up together. They became so close. He began to take her around the city, play together, and do other things together, and Hugo showed a new interest in her.
Hugo also takes Alita to see the city and introduces her to Motorball. Their conversations and time together gradually turn into attraction, and Alita was also in love with him very, very much.
The part that surprised me the most was when Alita navigates to Hugo's place.
Alita removes her cyborg heart and gives it to Hugo because she wants to help him achieve his dream of going to Zalem. That part caught my attention. This part really shows that Alita deeply loves Hugo and she's willing to do anything to protect him. That kind of love is rare to find.
Alita gradually recollects her strength and knows she is very powerful.
What I love the most was Alita's power, skills, and abilities. Also, the second new body Dr. Dyson Ido put on her was wow.
Nova sees Alita as a dangerous warrior who could challenge his power and destroy the system he controls. So, he begins to attack her by using other cyborgs to fight Alita, rather than confronting her himself. And because she was very powerful, she destroyed them all and killed them with her power.
Alita has become determined to reach Zalem and confront Nova, so their conflict becomes much more direct. And remember, Hugo's passion was to reach Zalem, but Nova set a defense system when Hugo tried to go, and he was destroyed. I feel like crying when Alita tried to save Hugo, but she couldn't. 😭 “The movie makes me anticipate more, especially with Alita preparing to confront Nova in Zalem. Unfortunately, the second part hasn't arrived.”
