SOLO LEVELING
La verdad es que nunca había leído manhwas y le quise dar la oportunidad a Solo Leveling y me he llevado una gran sorpresa, he leído muchos mangas y lo primero que me causo una gran sorpresa es ver que los manhwas son totalmente a color, y su distribución es diferente, pero personalmente me encanto, y en esto Solo Leveling es una obra de arte, visualmente es como ver un anime en fotogramas, es hermoso.
Hace unos años vi Sword Art Online (SAO) y la verdad me gusto, sobre todo la segunda temporada de GGO, pero la verdad siempre he criticado a su protagonista, pues me parece que su poder es algo sin sentido, y la obra ni siquiera se molesta en darle algo de contexto a sus power up, el solo existe y es un galán con 50 mujeres a su disposición jajajaja, se preguntaran por qué digo todo esto y es simple, esta obra, su premisa y nombre lo dicen todo: SOLO LEVELING
Nuestro protagonista es Sung Jin-Woo un chico demasiado débil, en ese mundo existen portales que han aparecido y de los cuales salen monstruos asesinos, para detenerlos los humanos empezaron a reclutar a gente que despertó poderes luego de la aparición de los portales y les llaman cazadores, estos se encargan de entrar a los portales y destruir a los monstruos en sus mazmorras antes de que estos emerjan y ataquen a la humanidad, y Sung Jin-Woo es uno de ellos.
El problema con esto es que los portales y los cazadores tienen diferentes rangos desde el rango E que es el más débil, escalando a D, C, B, A y el rango S, y nuestro protagonista es rango E y también es llamado el cazador más débil del mundo, así comienza nuestra trama, con nuestro protagonista entrando a una mazmorra de rango E, pero todo cambia cuando descubren que es una mazmorra doble, algo increíblemente raro y todo toma un giro inesperado en la vida de Sung.
Así comienza el desarrollo de la historia de este manhwa, nuestro protagonista poco a poco gracias a ciertos eventos es capaz de empezar a enfrentarse a estas mazmorras y portales el solo, siendo cada vez mas poderoso, por eso les comentaba lo de SAO, pues esto me lo recordó muchísimo, pero a diferencia de Sword Art aquí se explica el porque de los poderes de nuestro protagonista y su proceso de crecimiento.
Este manhwa trata de explicar los combates, el crecimiento y los poderes de Sung Jin-Woo como si fuera un juego, lo cual nos simplifica ver como se hace mas fuerte, sus habilidades y para todos los que estemos acostumbrados a los juegos de Rol (RPG) estaremos mas que felices viendo como la trama nos sumerge en una vida que parece un juego.
También la historia explora decisiones morales bastante profundas, como es la vida de un cazador, como lo ve la gente normal, la vida personal del protagonista y su entorno familiar, hay cosas que al principio no son del todo claras, pero conforme avanza la trama vamos entendiendo la complejidad de la misma y como aparecen situaciones que explican el trasfondo.
Los personajes secundarios, destacan bastante, aunque todo gire en torno al protagonista, estos personajes secundarios tienen una personalidad muy definida y que aporta al avance de la historia, quiero hacer mención honorifica a Cha Hae-in una cazadora muy poderosa y el presidente de la Asociación de Cazadores, cuya personalidad y acciones me hicieron agarrarle demasiado cariño.
No quiero hacer spoiler, así que diré que algunas invocaciones (monstruos que ayudan a nuestro protagonista) me hicieron reír demasiado, conforme avanza la obra tienen mas protagonismo y se siente genial. P.D: TE AMO IGRIS jajajaja
Me tomo un poco terminar este manhwa y se que el año que viene le harán un anime, así que para los que quieran verlo con un año de adelanto, esta es la señal jajaja, el manhwa es totalmente a color y ya esta finalizado, son 180 capítulos y 20 de epilogo los cuales casi me hacen llorar tanto de alegría como de tristeza en ciertas tramas.
Espero que este mini review los motive a leerlo, yo llegue con cero expectativas y salí con una de mis obras favoritas, podría estar en mi top 5 personal así que eso ya es muchísimo. Sin nada más que decirles, espero que le den una oportunidad y si tienen alguna recomendación háganmela saber.

SOLO LEVELING
The truth is that I had never read manhwas and I wanted to give Solo Leveling a chance and I have taken a big surprise, I have read many manga and the first thing that caused me a big surprise is to see that the manhwas are completely in color, and its distribution is different, but personally I loved it, and in this Solo Leveling is a work of art, visually it is like watching an anime in frames, it is beautiful.
A few years ago I saw Sword Art Online (SAO) and I really liked it, especially the second season of GGO, but the truth is that I have always criticized its protagonist, because it seems to me that his power is something meaningless, and the work does not even bother to give some context to his power up, he just exists and is a beau with 50 women at his disposal hahaha, you may wonder why I say all this and it is simple, this work, its premise and name says it all: SOLO LEVELING
Our protagonist is Sung Jin-Woo a boy too weak, in that world there are portals that have appeared and from which murderous monsters come out, to stop them humans began to recruit people who awakened powers after the appearance of the portals and call them hunters, these are responsible for entering the portals and destroy the monsters in their dungeons before they emerge and attack humanity, and Sung Jin-Woo is one of them.
The problem with this is that portals and hunters have different ranks from rank E which is the weakest, climbing to D, C, B, A and rank S, and our protagonist is rank E and is also called the weakest hunter in the world, so our plot begins, with our protagonist entering a rank E dungeon, but everything changes when they discover that it is a double dungeon, something incredibly rare and everything takes an unexpected turn in Sung's life. Thus begins the development of the story of this manhwa, our protagonist gradually thanks to certain events is able to begin to face these dungeons and portals alone, becoming increasingly powerful, that's why I was talking about SAO, because this reminded me a lot, but unlike Sword Art here explains the reason for the powers of our protagonist and his growth process.
This manhwa tries to explain the combat, growth and powers of Sung Jin-Woo as if it were a game, which simplifies us to see how he becomes stronger, his abilities and for all of us who are used to RPG games we will be more than happy to see how the plot immerses us in a life that seems like a game.
Also the story explores quite deep moral decisions, as is the life of a hunter, as normal people see it, the personal life of the protagonist and his family environment, there are things that at first are not entirely clear, but as the plot progresses we understand the complexity of it and how situations that explain the background appear.
The secondary characters, stand out quite a lot, although everything revolves around the protagonist, these secondary characters have a very definite personality and that contributes to the advancement of the story, I want to make honorable mention to Cha Hae-in a very powerful hunter and the president of the Association of Hunters, whose personality and actions made me grab me too fond of him.
I don't want to make spoiler, so I will say that some invocations (monsters that help our protagonist) made me laugh too much, as the work progresses they have more protagonism and it feels great. P.S: I LOVE YOU IGRIS hahahaha
It took me a little bit to finish this manhwa and I know that next year they will make an anime, so for those who want to see it with a year in advance, this is the signal hahaha, the manhwa is totally in color and is already finished, there are 180 chapters and 20 of epilogue which almost made me cry both of joy and sadness in certain plots.
