Nigel (Hugh Grant) and Fiona (Kristin Scott Thomas) take a cruise to celebrate their seventh wedding anniversary. Their trip takes an unexpected turn when they meet Mimi (Emmanuel Senina), whose husband Oscar (Peter Coyote) is a frustrated writer who insists on telling Nigel all about his history with Mimi.

The film is about love, lust, passion, marriage, jealousy, harmful emotional dependency, loss of individuality, misfortune, revenge and regret.

This is a film that plays with its characters and its audience, as the story leaves you with questions that the protagonist himself does not know how to answer or how to act.

Also, the music and cinematography on stage have a wonderful atmosphere and are one of the elements that completely immerses you in the story.

Peter Coyote and Emmanuelle Seigner deliver impressive performances, managing to disturb and move as the story demands and retain the essence of their characters until the last moments of the story.
