A Three-Sided Battle and a Foray to the Past...
(Beware! Major spoilers for the season finale of Black Lightning below!)

Jeff is badly hurt and won't wake up. Proctor searches for Thunder and Tobias Whale. And Tobias plots his final move against Proctor.
Both Proctor and Tobias believe Black Lightning is dead. Proctor's pods are on the verge of shutting down so he decides to use Thunder's DNA to stabilize them, but can't find Tobias to go after her. Meanwhile, Tobias, with Cy and Khulio by his side, is ready to take down Proctor once and for all. While the ASA man looks for him, he plants La-la to be found, rigged to explode. However, Proctor escapes the explosion, now on alert that Tobias is after him. He goes on a different approach to finding Thunder, looking instead for Peter Gambi.
At Gambi's hideout, Jeff's vitals are crashing, but there is nothing he, Lin and the kids can do. Meanwhile, Jeff is reliving memories of his father and recalling lessons the man taught him as a boy. Finally, he pulls through and wakes up... But his powers are gone. He has run out of charge and can no longer recharge himself.
Before they can do something about this new development, Proctor finds them and sends a team to eliminate Gambi and bring in Thunder. The house is quickly surrounded, and the only way out for them is a suicide mission for Jeff. Distraught, Jennifer summons her abilities and hugs Jeff, supercharging him and reigniting his powers. He and Thunder go out and fight while Gambi, with help from Jennifer who is finalky accepting her abilities, protect themselves inside.

Tobias gets wind of the ongoing battle and realises it's the perfect time to attact Proctor. He gets there just as Proctor is realising Black Lightning is alive and they can't take Thunder and they have to give up, igniting another battle in the premises. Khulio easily takes out the guards but Proctor himself escapes with a mysterious silver briefcase. The cops are alerted of the gun fights going on, but by the time they arrive at tbe locations, everyone alive has escaped.
The Pierce family, knowing Proctor would return once again for another try, go after him. In a final encounter, Gambi kills him, but they can't open the remaining four pods without the briefcase. Instead, they take the whole truth to the police, who grudgingly thank Black Lightning and Thunder and begin to call for answers fron the Government.
Meanwhile, Tobias has his hand on the briefcase, and using Proctor's severed thumbs, manages to get it open...
What an ending for the season! It's so shocking that the first villain we encountered, Tobias Whale, remains alive till the very end. Black Lightning and family are going to have their work cut out for them next season! Also, there was nothing on Jeff's dirty Vice-Principal. Now that Proctor is gone, what will her role be? Will she ever be caught?
Guess we'll have to wait for Season 2 to get Answers!
