The Air Totem of Zambesi
Now things are getting interesting!

This week, the legends, while saving Gary, the wimpy Time-Bureau agent, come across the criminal Zari, who, as it turns out, is being chased by the same water-metahuman we met during last week’s cliffhanger, who, as it turns out, is also a time traveller.
What?? Being the legends (and yeah, mini-idiots), they immediately set to keeping Zari safe, while recklessly screwing with the timeline.

More interesting is the fact that Zari locates another totem of Zambesi –the air totem, previously unseen in the arrowverse, directly linking her to Amaya. This, of course, furthers our suspicions that this season could revolve around the Zambesian protector and the magic totems. I definitely got a chill when the water-woman said, ‘If I kill you, I’ll just be killing myself’. Could this be the present day Vixen’s sister who wielded the water totem in the Vixen animated series, brought back to life? Well, turns out it is, the very same. Of course, the Legends don’t know this and Amaya has never been told of any of her grandchildren except for Mari. Also, in her trance, she is informed by the spirit of all who have worn the totem that ‘the totem grows stronger to match the threat you face’. I’m pretty sure they speak of Malice, who it seems, will also be connected to Amaya somehow. Welcome to the season of Zambesi!
In other news, the Legends and the Time-bureau finally go head-to-head (quite literally), and after their half-hearted clashes since the season began, it seems all bets are now off. Next time, it will be a real fight, with real stakes.
