This episode of Legends of Tomorrow shows us just how much of a screw-up the Legends are, but at the same time, shows us just why they always succeed at their missions: they are not afraid of anything. Not even a great evil the Time Bureau seem so worked up about. Front and Centre of the episode are Amaya and Nate, as the episode explores the reasons for their separation and how they are both handling it, which is badly. Once Sara brings Amaya back unto the Waverider for a supposed last mission involving a sabre-toothed tiger, Nate loses himself at once, going into a bar, getting drunk and displaying his abilities. This puts the team in trouble by bringing them to the attention of P.T. Barnum who is in danger of losing his circus and realises they would be a great replacement for his lost tiger. Amaya on the other hand, seems to have lost control over her totem, becoming almost completely wild whenever she uses it. The focus on Amaya also raised some questions about her future and this season of the show. Could it be that the villain of the season ‘Malice’ (who he still have no knowledge about, but was namedropped this week) is somehow connected to her? How will the show mange to solve the problem of her timeline and the relationship between her and Nate?

The Time-bureau is, of course, still involved in the Legend’s business and we see Sara and Sharpe go mano-a-mano (maybe that’s the wrong phrase) with each other. It’s cool to know that the two are quite evenly matched, but the fight seemed like an excuse for the two of them to get it on, and both seemed like they were just play-fighting. Now, what are you up to girls?
