Afflicted (2014). Images found, with blood and a typical history of blind friendship.

It's 3 in the morning, Danna has woken me up because she wants to have the bottle ... After taking care of Danna and sleeping her, I've been left without sleep. Then I decide to watch TV, so I tune in to one of my favorite channels (I will skip it, lol) and they are broadcasting a movie of "found fotage"; that is, the characters themselves recording. After seeing it, it occurred to me to write my experience here when I saw it:

Dereck and Clif are two good friends. But, sadly, Dereck is diagnosed with a disease that will not leave him a long time to live. Therefore, it happens to both of them to pack up and go to the world, travel and enjoy the time that remains and record everything with a video camera. On one of their trips, they stop in Paris; where at night he casually meets a pretty girl named Audrey. After a while of conversation, Dereck takes the girl to a hotel, to encourage a sexual encounter. However, beneath Audrey's cute and sexy appearance, there is a dark infection. And it infects Dereck, who after a few hours begins to manifest strange and unusual symptoms. One of them, was that he had more force, jumped in an amazing way, it seemed that the blows did not cause him harm ... Anyway, something as mutant and the ailments that had caused the terminal illness with which he was carrying had disappeared.

BUT, not everything is rosy and Dereck begins to have behaviors out of the ordinary, one of them is that he feels rejection for food, despite feeling great appetite. Then, they realize that he feels an incessant need for blood, and they decide to dabble in delight with various sources of blood. In the middle of this, they even visited the blood bank of a nearby hospital, unable to get the blood. It happens, that in the midst of despair, Dereck sees an ambulance coming and throws himself on it, attacks the driver and everything to steal the blood bags that are typically found there.

Desperate and already become a hungry criminal, he flees the police and locks himself in the apartment with Clif. It is when, they opt for various blood forts, such as cow blood for example. Without having positive results, they try with pig blood. But Dereck rejects her and ends up vomiting on these occasions. Clif, seeing Dereck's despair, cuts himself and draws his own blood to give him something to eat and thus try to avoid worsening the health situation. But, it was already late, the best friend had become a bloodthirsty being who couldn't even recognize the best friend. Then, ends Dereck himself devouring Clif.

It is a movie based on an experience called found fotage. I really do not like this kind of movies, I am inspired by the feeling that the quality of both the drama and the visual or auditory effects we can experience when we see them is very low. However, this movie has an entertaining, but very typical story. It was seen in advance that Clif would be eaten by Dereck; excessive feelings only bring pain and Clif could not define the departure of his best friend. Out of this, it is a film that has few actors, since the same creators of the script, directors and main actors are the same (Dereck and Clif.!). Apart from this, I can say that it is a bit catchy; but if what you want to see is a soft and not so dramatized terror (little blood), this is a good option.
