| Nuestro personaje principal ha retomado lo más posible una vida "común", trabaja en la sección de envíos de una empresa dedicada a la fabricación de objetos de baño. Por ser el empleado más nuevo de la nómina, le toca una responsabilidad dentro de la celebración de la empresa y allí es cuando se relaciona con una compañera de trabajo que se desempeña en el área administrativa. El corazón de Jerry queda flechado, pero ese será el inicio de un ciclo de desastres, puesto que la imagina y desea. Para acercarse a ella, le invita a un restaurante, sin embargo ella prefiere irse a otro sitio de parranda con las compañeras de oficina.
