I love this story ... I really did, I saw this movie recently and it seems like a beautiful love story with different cultures in between (In addition to the Pakistani boy reminding me of a good friend of mine. Ha).

Here is a bit of the film's development:

He is a boy named Kumail Nanjiani, he is from Pakistan and is dedicated to comedy. He arrived with the family in the United States when he was 18 years old. In one of the exits to the site where he made his comedy shows, he meets Emily Gardner. The girl is a student of Psychology, uninhibited and single with almost strange rules of love. That night they talked, he launched his typical question: Do you know how to write your name in Urdu ?, she replies that no ... and from that moment they simply fell in love. There were no cultures, languages, only a man and a woman who fall in love and have sex that same night, without ties in the shared department of Kumail.

They had a nice relationship, they saw each other a couple of times a week. But, despite this, none had known each other's parents. Kumail, who came from a conservative family that sought to fulfill the customs of culture, wanted to force a wedding with a Muslim girl. Whenever he had dinner at his mother's house, "unexpectedly" a Muslim girl appeared who handed him a picture and wanted to get married, but Kumail always rejected them. There were so many girls, that in a small chest, he kept the photos of all the candidates for the position of "wife". (NOTICE OF SPOILER) JA. One day Emily, being in Kumail's room, discovers said chest and looks at all the photos, He explains who they are. At that moment, Emily realizes that Kumail has not been able to tell parents about their relationship. They argue, they bother and they end. Emily had talked to her parents, so it bothered her to know that it was not important for Kumail to introduce her parents.

After a few days, Emily becomes seriously ill. And a friend of her study calls Kumail to stay with Emily in the hospital. He quickly goes to the hospital and sees Emily in a deteriorated health situation. At that moment the doctors enter and ask Kumail for an authorization to induce a coma to Emily, and thus be able to perform tests and administer medications; for which you access. Soon after, Emily's parents arrive, being devastated by the situation of the daughter, in addition to the mother behaving somewhat badly educated with Kumail, telling him that enough had already done and should leave. But for Kumail, that was no option and for the entire time Emily was in a coma, she was there with her and her parents.

Kumail was very sorry for what was happening, Emily was deteriorating more and more and entered in despair. That is when, that day of despair confesses to his parents that he has a relationship with an American girl. From that moment, the parents did not want to know more about him. Soon, Emily wakes up and without knowing that Kumail had not left her alone, asks her to leave. It is there, when Kumail with the broken heart and without family; He decides to go to another state to pursue his dream of being a famous comedian in the company of friends.

While there in one of his shows on the new site, Emily arrives to see him. I loved him and after learning everything Kumail had done for her when he was in a coma; He decided to look for him and be happy despite the cultural differences.

Actually, I repeat: I love this movie, it has a good development of it and all its scenes are incredible. Kumail and Emily definitely know how to put emotions on the screen, it is a story that is perhaps very predictable but with details that hook you. However, I didn't expect Emily to be in a coma for so long...!
