Movie: Morbius

The recently released movie Morbius is the 3rd movie of Sony's Spiderverse. The movie was supposed to come out in 2020 but due to Corona and various resorts, the movie was released after 2 years. I was listening to very bad reviews about the movie, including bad cgi, predictable storyline, confusing plot and very bad post credit scene. After listening to these reviews, I lost interest in watching the movie for good reason, but I went to see the movie as it was already planned with my friends. But when I was leaving, I kept thinking, I am going to be bored for 108 minutes, I did not have any hope. But I was less disappointed than I had hoped.

The movie Morbius tells the story of a talented doctor who transfers bat or bat's DNA to his body for treatment of a terminal illness, which overcomes its physical limitations but admits to horrific side effects, including the power of a vampire. His close friend Milo also suffered from the same disease. How Dr. Morbius will carry this vampire ability of his .This movie is about how my friend Milo will recover or what will happen to Milo. As for the story, the story of this movie, Plot 2 was very predictable. There is nothing new in the story. But I'm not as boring as the reviews say. Some of the plots in the story were confusing, why it happened, how it happened, I didn't get any answer. Aside from the story, if we come to another subject, no subject was so good, nor was it bad enough to be thrown away again. Cinematography, direction was average. There have been bad reviews about CGI, but I haven't had any problems with CGI. In acting, almost everyone, including Jared Leto and Matt Smith, has done a fair amount of work. Another thing I like best is the tone of the movie, which is kept as dark as possible. In the movie, a detective character has been given a somewhat comedy script, except that the rest of the movie is in a serious tone.

I've been talking about the relatively good side of the movie for so long, so don't think this movie is so good. Now let's hope about the weak points of the movie. The first thing that bothered me was the movie villain. The villain's motive is undefined It was not clear at all. What the villain wants is probably clear, but what he wants and what he does for it was not clear at all, was very confusing. Secondly, the final action of the movie, after watching the last act of this movie, my Venom vs. Riot fight felt very good. Third, the final edit of the movie. All Spiderman references have been removed from the movie, but Venom has references. Looking at the 1st and 2nd trailer, it seemed that the piers of Morbius would be well explored in the movie, maybe it was in the 1st cut movie, but there is nothing like that in the final cut. If the movie showed in detail how Morbius controls or learns to control his vampire powers, the movie could be quite interesting. I didn't like the character development in the movie after that, especially the relationship between Morbius and Martini, I like the force, although the movie is a superhero movie, so this issue can be ignored.
And there are reasons to say that everyone is calling the post credit scene the worst, confusing, but personally it doesn't matter much to me, the post credit scene is a undefined The hints they gave were received by the audience, but why the hint was given, which way to go and stop the hint will not clear the post credit scene, so I do not think it is a major problem.

Now the question is, why is the movie so bad even though it has so much potential? The movie had potential, the movie could be seen in some scenes, the movie could be much better. Many will say that Sony movie is a bad movie, which I am reluctant to accept. In my opinion (completely my personal opinion) MCU had no part in making the best 2 of all the Spiderman movies I have seen so far, Spiderman 2 and Into the Spiderverse. I have enough doubts about how nostalgic the No Way Home movie would have been without the Great Butt Remover and Webverse, so some credit must go to Sony. The Spiderman 3 movie was disappointing but the movie was good except for the symbiotic part. The Amazing Spiderman movie was also good. This means that Sony can make a good movie if it wants. But where is their problem? The problem is their extra plots and their dreams . The rush for Project Sinister Six movie, the first acknowledgment of which is The Amazing Spiderman 2. Also, Sony may be planning to give a stand-alone movie to some villains with a very low budget, a movie that will not focus on anyone except the lead character, so that even if the movies are bad, the Sinister Six members will be known and later use the multiverse concept. By bringing everyone together and fighting against Spiderman, their dream project will fulfill the dream of Sinister Six.
They have been successful enough with 2 parts of Venom, but it seems that Morbius movie will not be as effective as Venom. If they could use the villain characters of the movie in these 3 movies i.e. Riot, Carnegie and Milo by developing their potential according to their potential with a little more screen time, then these 3 movies could be even better. The Craven movie is coming to the fore in their list of antihero movies. It's sad that casting talented actors like Tom Hardy, Jared Letter, but enough space or script to shine them. They are not getting it.
Lastly, will you go and see the movie? The thing I like about the movie is that Zero Expectations, if you want to see a movie with Zero Expectations, you can go, or if you want to see Just Morbius character on the big screen, you don't care much about the story plot, but You can go, . I would give Morbius 4.5 / 10, where the movie's current Rotten Tomato rating is 19 percent.
