Ya me tocaba ver esta película de Ghibli, era de las pocas que me faltaban. Una historia que si bien ya tiene una animación que se le notan los años todavía tiene ese toque mágico que distingue los filmes de la empresa productora. Fue estrenada en 1986, siendo director el reconocido Hayao Miyazaki.
I had to see this Ghibli film, it was one of the few I was missing. A story that even though its animation is already showing its age, it still has that magical touch that distinguishes the films of the production company. It was released in 1986, and was directed by the renowned Hayao Miyazaki.
Pazu es un niño que trabaja en una mina, una noche ve como una niña cae de forma lenta desde el cielo. Luego de ayudarla y conocer su nombre, Sheeta, la apoyara en evitar que le roben una piedra mágica, a su vez se centrarán en resolver una leyenda, la isla flotante llamada “Laputa”.
Pazu is a boy who works in a mine, one night he sees how a girl slowly falls from the sky. After helping her and learning her name, Sheeta, he helps her to avoid being robbed of a magic stone, and at the same time they will focus on solving a legend, the floating island called "Laputa".
Una historia que es una aventura mágica principalmente, mostrando muchos escenarios fantásticos. Entre los puntos positivos, es la facilidad con la que nos transporta a ese mundo con sus peculiares personajes, artilugios y dinámicas. Un soundtrack que es de lo mejor de Ghibli, una melodía que se te quedará para siempre.
A story that is mainly a magical adventure, showing many fantastic scenarios. Among the positive points, is the ease with which it transports us to that world with its peculiar characters, gadgets and dynamics. A soundtrack that is one of the best of Ghibli, a melody that will stay with you forever.
En los puntos negativos y que me parecen resaltantes, son una animación que ya muestra sus años de producción, pero aún así mantiene un nivel aceptable. Lo peor en todo caso son ciertas situaciones inverosímiles que se ven con ciertos personajes, como el villano de la cinta, o la fuerza desmedida en sus brazos que debe tener Pazu para que ciertos momentos se den.
On the negative points and that I find outstanding, are an animation that already shows its years of production, but still maintains an acceptable level. The worst thing in any case are certain implausible situations that are seen with certain characters, such as the villain of the film, or the excessive strength in his arms that Pazu must have for certain moments to happen.
Finalmente solo me queda recomendarla como una película icónica de la filmografía de Ghibli, y que nos logra transportar a un mundo asombroso.
In the end I can only recommend it as an iconic film in Ghibli's filmography, and one that transports us to an amazing world.
