Siempre que hay viajes en el tiempo en la ficción, siempre se tiende a evitar el contacto con uno mismo; sin embargo, esta película hace totalmente lo contrario, para contarnos un relato de padres e hijos. Se estrenó este año en Netflix, siendo director Shawn Levy.
Whenever there is time travel in fiction, there is always a tendency to avoid contact with oneself; however, this film does the complete opposite, to tell us a tale of fathers and sons. It was released this year on Netflix, being director Shawn Levy.
Sinopsis: Adam Reed es un niño de 12 años que luego de ser dejado solo en casa, percibe la presencia de un extraño. Luego de averiguar que es un desconocido y hablar con él, lo reconoce como el mismo, pero del futuro, un viajero del tiempo. Estos dos Adam Reed, tendrán que cooperar para evitar un futuro apocalíptico.
Synopsis: Adam Reed is a 12-year-old boy who after being left home alone, perceives the presence of a stranger. After finding out that he is a stranger and talking to him, he recognizes him as the same, but from the future, a time traveler. These two Adam Reed, will have to cooperate to avoid an apocalyptic future.
Una historia de ciencia ficción y comedia, con toques de drama, acción e incluso fantasía. Si bien hay una misión por completar y se van desarrollando eventos para conseguir ese objetivo, la película intenta enfocarse en mostrar los cambios de un niño a adulto, los problemas que persisten, los cambios de personalidad y otros temas más relacionados a la familia. Creo que esta variante lo hace un tanto único y es disfrutable.
A story of science fiction and comedy, with touches of drama, action and even fantasy. While there is a mission to complete and events unfold to achieve that goal, the film tries to focus on showing the changes from a child to an adult, the problems that persist, personality changes and other issues more related to the family. I think this variation makes it somewhat unique and enjoyable.
La comedia funciona, pero es tipo Deadpool hasta cierto punto. Eso sí, Ryan Reynolds hace un buen papel como el protagonista adulto. Otros personajes son poco desarrollados, me quedo a deber la villana de turno, que creo pudieron trabajar más. Los efectos especiales cumplen y hay un tanto de acción en su dosis justa. La música es lo menos memorable.
The comedy works, but it's Deadpool-like to a point. Mind you, Ryan Reynolds does a good role as the adult protagonist. Other characters are underdeveloped, I'm left wanting for the villain on duty, who I think could have done more work. The special effects are good and there is some action in its right dose. The music is the least memorable.
En general es una buena película para pasar el rato en familia(tiene su dosis de groserías). Lo recomiendo si te gustan los viajes en el tiempo.
Overall it's a good movie to spend time with the family (it has its dose of rudeness). I recommend it if you like time travel.
