Este drama biográfico con 10 episodios, logra aparte de mostrarnos una historia atrapante, el mostrar diferentes contextos relacionados al objetivo final del título. Por ejemplo, conoceremos un poco como el bajo mundo italiano, reacciona al posible estreno de una película que los menciona. A su vez, veremos la parte de la producción, la creación del guión, la selección de actores, la dirección, la búsqueda de financiamiento, las diferentes luchas de egos o problemas, etc.
This 10-episode biographical drama, apart from showing us a gripping story, manages to show different contexts related to the ultimate goal of the title. For example, we will learn a little about how the Italian underworld reacts to the possible release of a film that mentions them. In turn, we will see the part of the production, the creation of the script, the selection of actors, the direction, the search for financing, the different struggles of egos or problems, etc.
Tras ver los diversos problemas, entre ellos algunos relacionados con la mafia, es sorprendente ver cómo llegó a concluirse el proyecto. Otro punto que gusta, es ver a diversas leyendas del cine siendo interpretadas y su participación en los eventos; como son: Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, Francis Ford Coppola, Mario Puzo, etc. Si bien todo es interesante de ver, hay un bajón después de los primeros episodios, debido que muchas de las sorpresas o expectativas por ver a ciertas personas, ya disminuye; además de que es un final que ya conocemos.
After seeing the various problems, including some related to the mafia, it is surprising to see how the project was concluded. Another point that pleases, is to see various movie legends being played and their participation in the events; such as: Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, Francis Ford Coppola, Mario Puzo, etc. While everything is interesting to watch, there is a letdown after the first few episodes, because many of the surprises or expectations to see certain people, already decreases; plus it is an ending that we already know.
La actuación es espectacular, se sienten bastante reales varios personajes. Entre ellos destacó a Matthew Goode como Robert Evans. La fotografía acompañada de un buen trabajo de escenarios, vestuario y maquillaje, nos transporta fácilmente a la década en que fue rodada la película. Creo que pudieron mejorar bastante el opening, acaba siendo cansado de ver.
The acting is spectacular, several characters feel quite real. Among them, Matthew Goode stood out as Robert Evans. The photography accompanied by a good job of scenery, costumes and makeup, easily transports us to the decade in which the film was shot. I think they could have improved the opening, it ends up being tiring to watch.
No me quedan dudas de que estoy ante una de las series del año, es entretenida de ver y te hace conocer más del mundo de la producción de películas. Muy recomendable.
I have no doubt that this is one of the series of the year, it is entertaining to watch and makes you know more about the world of film production. Highly recommended.
