Gantz debe ser mi manga favorito hasta el momento, la mezcla de acción, violencia, ciencia ficción, erotismo; con una especie de juego demencial, se me hizo irresistible en los años que se publicaba. Pero como muchos sabrán, Gantz concluyó. Ya en la actualidad, me he enterado de los varios spin off que han salido en los últimos años. Gantz:E es uno de ellos, situado en la época Edo en Japón, comenzó a publicarse el 2020. El escritor es Oku Hiroya y el ilustrador Jin Kagetsu.
Gantz has to be my favorite manga so far, the mix of action, violence, sci-fi, eroticism; with a sort of demented playfulness, became irresistible to me in the years it was published. But as many will know, Gantz came to an end. Nowadays, I've learned of the various spin-offs that have come out in recent years. Gantz:E is one of them, set in the Edo era in Japan, it began publication in 2020. The writer is Oku Hiroya and the illustrator is Jin Kagetsu.

To their surprise, they are teleported to a room with a black sphere called Gantz. What follows is a mission to kill various monsters.

En todo caso la idea es está: Diversas personas son revividas y trasladadas a una habitación en que una esfera negra les da la oportunidad de comprar su libertad; eso mediante misiones en las que tendrán que matar monstruos hasta llegar a los 100 puntos. Hay múltiples detalles, como trajes y armas que te permiten mayor fuerza y poder de ataque; como el poder revivir a otros personajes.

En lo que va del manga, me he enganchado rápidamente; hay diversos personajes llamativos, pero el sentir que cada humano puede morir en cualquier momento se mantiene. Los monstruos hacen referencia a la época como grandes samurais o demonios. Es de esperar que mientras más avance la historia, habrá mayores sorpresas de las que ya hay en sus 32 primeros capítulos.
So far in the manga, I've been hooked quickly; there are diverse eye-catching characters, but the feeling that every human can die at any time is maintained. The monsters reference the era as great samurai or demons. Hopefully, the further the story progresses, there will be bigger surprises than there already are in its first 32 chapters.
