A veces es necesario una nominación a los Oscar para prestar atención a un título, eso debida a la cantidad apabullante que actualmente hay en el mercado y el poco tiempo que tiene uno para ver lo que hay. Ya pude ver este excelente corto animado y lo comento. Fue estrenada en noviembre del año pasado en Netflix. Creado y dirigido por Dan Ojari y Mikey Please. Producción británica hecha por Aardman Animations.
Sometimes you need an Oscar nomination to pay attention to a title, due to the overwhelming amount of films currently on the market and the little time you have to see what's out there. I was able to see this excellent animated short film and I comment on it. It was released last November on Netflix. Created and directed by Dan Ojari and Mikey Please. British production made by Aardman Animations.
Sinopsis: Robin es una pequeña ave que ha crecido en una familia de ratones, ella al identificarse con su familia, intenta vivir como ellos. Por ello se propone conseguir comida de una familia de humanos cercana.
Synopsis: Robin is a little bird who has grown up in a family of mice, she identifying with her family, tries to live like them. So she sets out to get food from a nearby family of humans.
Lo primero que resalta es la detallada animación stop motion, que le da un estilo muy lindo a los personajes y al mundo que los rodea. Esta es una historia infantil, así que busca dejar una enseñanza al final de la misma, cosa que a mi parecer consigue. Tiene un buen toque de humor y de musical.
The first thing that stands out is the detailed stop motion animation, which gives a very cute style to the characters and the world around them. This is a children's story, so it seeks to leave a teaching at the end of it, which I think it achieves. It has a nice touch of humor and musical.
Los personajes son pocos, pero están bien trabajados, permitiendo identificar sus personalidades y objetivos fácilmente. Es un corto que dura alrededor de 30 minutos, así que puede verse rápido.
The characters are few, but they are well worked, allowing to identify their personalities and goals easily. It is a short film that lasts about 30 minutes, so it can be watched quickly.
Me gustó este corto y espero en el futuro ver una nueva gran producción de Aardman Animations(Chicken Run, Shaun the Sheep). Es para todo el mundo, pero más recomendado para un público infantil.
I liked this short and hope in the future to see a new big production from Aardman Animations(Chicken Run, Shaun the Sheep). It's for everyone, but more recommended for a child audience.
