Ya tocaba ver una película peruana después de bastante tiempo. No soy muy fan de la producción local, salvo casos contados. Un aspecto que me llamó la atención es el ser la primera película totalmente en aimara, y tener variados galardones. Fue estrenada en el 2017. Su director es Óscar Catacora.

La película trata de mostrar el día a día de los ancianos, que a pesar de los años, deben buscar sobrevivir por su cuenta. A su vez, vemos como al parecer han sido dejados a su suerte por la sociedad y familiares.
The film tries to show the daily life of the elderly, who despite the years, must try to survive on their own. At the same time, we see how they seem to have been left to fend for themselves by society and relatives.
Si bien mucho del metraje es más contemplación, al final se va dejando un mensaje con una carga fuerte de tristeza, e incluso habrá momentos de crueldad para nuestros protagonistas. Eso sí, el avance es lento y no hay mucha acción, el espectador debe ir avisado de antemano. Creo que para evitar ello, se hubiera hecho más juegos con los animales que se ven.
Although much of the footage is more contemplation, in the end it leaves a message with a strong message of sadness, and there will even be moments of cruelty for our protagonists. La actuación de la pareja de ancianos, Vicente Catacora y Rosa Nina, es literalmente sorprendente, su trabajo es excepcional. La fotografía es estática con solo luz natural, el resultado es bueno. No hay trabajo musical, salvo sonidos.

En general, el resultado es mejor de lo que esperaba al comienzo. Si bien puede ser lenta, el mensaje que construye es fuerte. Recomendable.
