Hello my dear movie lovers! 🍿🎟️🎥

In the world there have always been wars, started by hatred, rancor, racism, ego, hunger for power, and many perverse feelings of man. Currently we have the war between Ukraine and Russia, this has reminded me about a book I read many years ago and called my attention so much that it increased my curiosity to know more details about the second world war, in the times of Hitler when his hatred, his superiority, his racism killed millions of Jews, among them the Frank family, to be more exact, that book that I read several years ago was about the Diary of Anne Frank, so I quickly saw the movie that is based on her diary and is about this beautiful story based on real life, which is cinematically recreated on more than one occasion, as there have been several films about this valuable diary that tells the life of a young girl of Jewish origin.

The film or mini series of The Story of Anne Frank in 2001, tells in two parts the life of Anne, before the holocaust and during that time, this film directed by Robert Dornhelm is one of my favorites because the characters are too similar to the 8 hidden Jews who actually existed, looking on the internet I saw the resemblance to the photographs of each of them that over time have been published, this makes the film much more real than any other, The actress who played Anne Frank is Hannah Taylor-Gordon, there are also other actors like Ben Kingsley who plays the role of Anne's father, Mr. Otto Frank, as well as the actress Tatjana Blacher playing Anne's mother, Mrs. Edith Frank and the actress Jessica Manley playing Margot Frank, Anne Frank's sister, as well as the rest of the 8 hidden Jews and other important characters, who are the actors Brenda Blethyn (Auguste), Nicolas Audsley (Peter), Joachim Krol (Hermann), Jan Niklas (Dr. Fritz), Jeff Caster (Lammert) and Lili Taylor (Miep), among others. All with an important role in the film, who in real life were mentioned by Anne Frank in her diary.

¡Hola mis queridos amantes del cine! 🍿🎟️🎥

This film is based on what the young Anne Frank lived, who she really was, what she dreamed and what she was living, two worlds so different, one the one she lived and the other the one she dreamed, so full of illusions and joy that the Nazi power was killing. She together with her family and 4 other members, hid from the Nazis in 1942 and were found in 1944, everything they lived during that hiding place, an attic that was in the building where Anne Frank's father worked, with the help of friends, they managed to stay there for those 2 years, in the film we can see everything they lived, Anne Frank tells us about all those events and how hard it was to be in the recruitment camp, a place where she dies due to typhus, the filth and lack of hygiene of the place was too much, a month after her death occurs the liberation of the camp and the victory of the war against the Nazis.

This film causes a great impact on me, because of all that Anne Frank and her family lived, as well as millions of innocent Jews of all ages, a young girl full of life, dreams, desire to become a modern woman, to travel the world to be locked in a small place with other people, without seeing the light of day, without feeling the breeze, without seeing the birds, without being free, ends up dying cruelly due to the hatred and evil of a man like Hitler, without heart or emotion. This is what causes wars, innocent deaths, separated families, pain for the losses, ruins, hunger and many more things, as we can see throughout the feature film that with 189 minutes of duration manages to put the heart wrinkled due to the impact that this story causes.

It should be noted that it has a wonderful scenery and a very professional performance of each actor, it is a film that from the beginning makes you dream, value life, respect life, makes you reason about our coexistence with other people, makes you think about true happiness and appreciate the moments that we let pass and that I'm sure Anne Frank dreamed of having had, there are many messages of reflection that this film lets us see, besides it is a feature film that you can see with the whole family because it leaves a great message and knowledge of history, of what was the second world war and what many Jews lived at that time, it is a war movie and a lot of drama that I hope you can see, if you have not seen it yet, if you like historical events, real events and drama in the middle of a war, I highly recommend it, not only has a great message, but a great raw and harsh reality that we can live in the midst of any war.

A curious fact about this story is that, according to historians it is said that the diary of Anne Frank was found by some friends of the young woman, who published the story for the first time in 1947, another curious fact is that only the father of Anne Frank (Otto Frank) to whom Anne referred to as Pip, was the only survivor of the entire Frank family, he died in 1980; In addition to that, Anne Frank, before dying, rewrote her diary due to a call from the government to preserve all writings, diaries, documents that tell or document the Nazi occupation and everything they were living. Netflix has available the new movie subtitled as My Best Friend, Anne Frank (2022), where they also tell the life of Anne Frank from what her friend lived and could know about her.

I hope you liked it and I encourage you to watch it, if you have already seen it I am sure you liked it, see you next time, my beautiful moviegoers! 🤩🍿

This was an acceptable adaptation in miniseries format, wow, it's amazing that 22 years have passed since its broadcast. The actress who played Anna, after doing a few movies and series, her career seems to have stalled.
